Hi. Will you kindly post the type of clay and a source for it…so many types of clay. Thank you !❤
Brilliant video. Super instruction now I am searching to buy some products to get into enameling. Very inspired. Thanks a bunch ❤
I don’t understand all these positive comments. While explained a lot, it would’ve been really nice to see you actually doing it. 🤷♀️
Great intro to overglazing
😢
You explain very well. I wish I was there. near by you but I'm so far from you to join your class
A question please? we must enamel both sides ? And, can we enamel brass? Thank you❤
Thank you❤❤❤
Wow, that's great to know! I've always admired enamelling work but this is the first time I've seen it done. I'm sure I will have fun with it after I am done with some other projects and have bought all the gear. Thanks so much!
If you place a penny or two under the copper blank before sifting it's much easier to lift.
Where can I find Mini animal #3? Would love to see the head of the fennec fox. Thanks so much for your videos!
Hi, wonderful video! Can you tell me what gauge/thickness metal you are using, and if the enameling oil is similar to Klyr fire?
6:27 WOW! So helpful! Was wondering how to do this!
So you never lube your saw... is that bad practice?
I hate sawing!
The teeth have an erection? I don't think you should say that to your HS students. LOL Excellent videos. TY
Love it, thanks!
Can Bronze or Brass be enameled?
What glues held too well? I’m working on a different type of project but your video has helped me. Any super strong paper or fabric to metal would be good. It needs to stay forever. And any types of clean over coats? 👍
what kind of clay?
What tool did you use for dots. 5PM SUNDAY
Better shirt would be a start...?
I’ve seen enamel over gold, from ancient Egyptian scarabs, but you said only copper or silver?
What is the approximate weight of a bust like that?

How do u pickle brass and stainless steel has been my question all day did u just answer it and I'm trying to do. Piece were I put gemstone beads on Eye pins and jump ring them together after I solder it how do I polish it without putting the gemstones in the pickle
thank you❤ i was wondering how people get their jewellery to look so polished, this was useful
Thanks for your videos. I really enjoying them. Where can I buy this resist ? Does the resist works for Sterling silver ? Thanks.
One explanation I missed: when you're enameling two sides of the piece, how do you prevent the previous enameled side from melting to the tripod during the torching of the second side?
Did you mention the need for a mask when handling enamel powder. It’s so fine that you won’t see the dust in the air, but it’s very dangerous for health.
Is it possible to take a not quite ideal photo and add interesting shadow lines to create a more interesting reference, either with software tools or your imagination? Or perhaps with AI these days?
That last one ☝️
Can this be done using a microwave kiln? can I use a propane torch?
I have a question- I know how to torch fire and watched your video for a brush up as I'm getting back into the craft. What is Enamel Oil? I've never heard of it- is it the binder Klyr-fire? I tried to google and all I came up with was paint. Thanks!
what about cast iron pots and pans that is Enamel and mug´s????? if it only works on copper and silvewr
Sei bravissima, grazie
what Cone temp did you use when you fired the under glaze?
I stuff much larger sculptures with news paper then when I’ve finished sculpting , I take paper out once it dried enough . I also used chopped up pieces of wooden rolling pins as supports to help position animals , covered with small bits of sponges and wrap extremities like paws tails in bits of cling film to stop it cracking while I work on different areas. I found it better to use anatomical pictures in profile and use callipers to measure out animal . I found some clays are better than others for different processes so after much trail and error sofar I’ve found a clay called Hannah Asraf Raku, which is heavily grogged and lends itself well to sculpture but I know some use fortified porcelain clay which I’ve yet to try. I need to find help on how to fire my own work , use a kiln so frustrating that the 3D contemporary craft degree course I was on , didn’t teach this so I’m struggling to find someone to talk me though firing process with an electric kiln now.
