    I'm assuming after you do this the one that's outside doesn't bloom much flowers?

    So I noticed your only doing one per pot. Would it work with 2 per pot. I doing mine in 2 1/2 in peat pots so I can just pop in the ground when ready. I’ve been planting poppies for several years with no luck the only ones that came up was California and Iceland. So I’m ready to try this. Thanks for sharing.

    @@erich9779it takes about 6 months. Why would you say 6 years are you insane? Or just trying to give somebody a bad day?

    That was really cool ma'am!! Thank You!! If you ask me if I'm crazy, I'll say yes. LoL I looking for a fast growing vine to plant indoors, so that my livingroom can look like people's vine covered outdoors. 😁 Do these vine spread fast? I love the Kudzu with its flowers, and this puff vine looks absolutely awesome!! Thank you for any help Ma'am 😊

    I'm zone 7a south central pa and this is my first year to fall Plat ranunculus. I'm good at spouting them for the spring . You are giving me confidence to do fall planting. Best of luck for us both. Looking forward to more videos from you. Thanks

    Beautiful flowers! I've been following along with your fall planting (ranunculus) as well as the winter sowing. Great videos throughout! I particularly curious about your eucalyptus. Did they overwinter outside? I'm in zone 7 and have been planning to pot up my eucalyptus, planted this spring, and bring them inside for the cold months. I'd love to be able to leave them outside. Any thoughts? Thanks so much for the great info you've been providing!

    I tried them this year and got many to green but not many buds. Finally I saw a total of 6 buds. One bloomed and the others are dying since the weather had gotten so warm for them. I am in NYC and this was on my balcony in flower beds.

    Beautiful arrangement :) I have peony that pops up every season but by the time they open they are covered in gnats and other tiny bugs so I haven’t brought any inside since living here. They are gorgeous tho. Its growing next to mint which I thought deterred insects but apparently not lol.

    I totally agree! When it’s a first try getting one to do well is totally worth it because you know you can do it! Rununculus are hard to grow in my climate. Sometimes I think it’s worth it to just enjoy other peoples rununculus and enjoy what is easy to grow in my climate and make my life a bit easier haha. Tulips and daffodils give me such satisfaction…just as much as ranunculus, but with little effort and worry. I might give up on Rununculus haha, so good job 👏. I’m going to double up on tulips next year and maybe bag ranunculus 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know…I do like the challenge to.

  • @FlowerFanatic
    @FlowerFanatic2 жыл бұрын

    Oh man rununculus can be challenging in our climates. Especially when hard frost come pretty late. I’m not going to give up haha.

    Hi there! I also have had lots of success with winter sown poppies. I did both direct sow and winter sow this year. I have also heard that they dont prefer transplanting. I would say most of the ones I transplanted did ok. I lost a couple. But thats the case with most starts. Thanks for sharing! 🌱

    Thank you! Could you tell us what general climate or area you have, so we can make more sense of the dates you mentioned? Can the seedlings take some light frosts? When do you plant the seedlings out in relation to your last frost date?

  • @peoniesandlilacsdesign
    @peoniesandlilacsdesign2 жыл бұрын

    I’m in zone 6b…winters can get down into the teens, and the seeds start sprouting when they’re ready. They can take light frosts since they’re somewhat protected in the plastic jugs and as it stays warmer the lids will be removed to prevent overheating. Last frost is around May 10th here, but many of these are cold hardy and will go in the ground in early April. Since they’re already adjusted to the cold there is no hardening off. I hope that helps!
