You are amazing doing all this. I love doing diy but my bodily aches and pains won’t allow me too much… I’m jealous of what you achieve and very proud of you. Wish it was was me!!!! It’s looking good ! Hope Ted gets better soon. And hi from Barbados.
No one does transitions between beam and ceiling better! Your attention to detail is remarkable.
You both are amazing
Awww thank you John, means a lot 👍
LOL.. Nice collection of outtakes... Too bad there isn't more room in that circular stairway to include a Fire Man's Pole for sliding down on instead of stairs for a little variety and fun... WEEEE! all the way down... but something on floor for soft landings. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Now and for all the years to come.
A whale with its pilot fish... instead of driftwood? Sealife abstract whale or perhaps... Dr. Who's, whale from outer space on Christmas special from years ago... abstract interpretation. But then abstract work is open to the interpretation of the viewer and the feelings/memories it inspires.. Well done. So adventurous and fun. Also love the tool organization, re using plumbing pipes to hang power tools with over workbench. So handy and tidy.
Thank You WooWoo Toilet for providing for your comfort until your drainage system can be built. Much handier than running over to Tea Room facilities in middle of night. Now who's job will it be to empty the 'night soil" and urine? and where to empty them? Been there and done that at our rustic lakefront camp... LOL. It is good to have facilities for the colder months in your Piggeries' Digs... now for a source of heat. No fireplace in site yet or even signs of a wood burner. Will it be electric heater then or something outside of the box. Oh, that WooWoo might be nice to use in the Follies in the future, should you decide to convert them into Off Grid Jeets for guests that want that Green Experience with perhaps, solar powered electrics.
I love that you are showing your surrounding area and history! It is so interesting! Is there anything you can’t do?
You are a great instructor!
👋👍❤️
Seriously, well done on using that tape in the corners/edges of the plasterboard. You're probably the first I've seen do this in these renovation videos, and it's so important to block draughts/heat escaping. It's a tough task in old buildings but every bit helps.
The rat can be the “ Oven Mascot “ !
Hope Ted is soon on the mend
Ted stop rushing to get better, sit on you bum for a bit. GET BETTER SOON !!! Your Lovely Wife has your back, she is doing a GREAT JOB.
👍👍👍
Loved you two bring on laughter , all the best !
Sorry to hear Ted had a set back, hope you get back on your hands soon 😊 Great job on the tape and jointing Lisa!
As the Greeks say...Perastika!...Get better soon!
Leesa, excellent lime mortar work. You are the expert now. Great to see you getting a tight seal on the windows. Did you treat the window trim with 'worm wood treatments'? I hope so. We want that beautiful wood work to last and last and last for your lifetime of residence there. Keep up the wonderful, inspiring work.
Great job Lesa!!! You are a perfectionist with your skills. Yes, Ted is great/perfect at scribing in the edges. You should be very pleased with yourself! Wow! Look at those vehicles ... so cool! Great tutorial on doing the plaster/taping next to those antient beautiful beams. wow, beautiful reveal Lesa, great work!!! Oh, so sorry for the set back for Ted. All the best! God Bless.
Loved the intro great job . The wall and floor stone work looks so in keeping with the building. Thanks to Carsten one of the angels send more angels to help .
Congratulations on your humor and the courage to go on "alone". So well done! Best wishes for Ted's recovery. ❤
As a fellow French resident that’s not how I’ve done corners, BUT, it’s how I will be doing any indoor in the future.
Lesa you had more plaster on you than the wall. It looked really good when you finished. Sorry about Ted it's hard when you are so active to slow down 🫤
Another great room .It will soon be ready.⭐️⭐️👋👋
Great job Leesa!!! 👍🏻You are a rockstar!!! 👏 The car rally looked like fun. 🚗🏎️ So sorry Ted had a setback…💙🙏 Hope all goes well for him so the chateau DIY team can get back working together. 🥰
Brilliant as always Lesa. Love to Ted.. miss you guys but got You Tube to watch. We start taking down walls in our bungalow 2nd week of June. Hope Carl doesn’t ask me to do plasterboarding! Love Katrina.
Help I am addicted.😂....to watching your channel. In the last 2,5 months I have been watching all the videos. Thank you so much for all off these lovely hours. I hope Ted will recover soon and wish you both all the best😊
Haha, that is such a lovely comment, thank you, one thing is certain, we will be able to accommodate your addiction, as there is sooo much more work to be done. Thanks for watching.
So sorry to hear about Ted having a relapse. He needs to listen to the doctors and rest for complete healing. Lisa, I've come to the conclusion you can do anything, great job doing all that plastering. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
I have been listening, however, you can imagine how frustrating and upsetting it is to see your wife having to do everything, even though she is the one telling you to rest. Fingers crossed things are on the mend and we can get back to some real work
16:41 “When one Lesa is not enough” !! Wishing Ted all the best for a speedy recovery!
Hang on a minute, there is only and will always only be "one Lesa" phew thank goodness for that

May Ted heal thoroughly and may all the loving thoughts of the community that you have created and those of friends and family surround you both.
We are so lucky to have a supportive local community as well as you wonderful KZread followers, thank you all
🏰🏰
What a great video, I think Lesa wishes there were two of her at times to do the work 😂.. speedy recovery, Ted... cars going that fast, it reminded me of a Mr. Bean show 😂😂😂
❤❤❤
Great job lovely lady…well done…looks fab!!!
Lesa, you do an amazing job and you're also a great teacher! Ted, I hope you heal soon!
It's good to see you having a bit of a day out to recharge your batteries to come back and get back to work. You need rest, relaxation and recuperation. Please give Ted my best. I hope he is back on his feet again very soon and feeling a whole lot better.
Sympathies on this set back. Good to see your spirits were up for the challenge and you are doing a fine job of dusting off and getting on with it. I hope that tarpaline stays put in all that wind and rain for , what, next two months, or until you get a long enough dry spell to sort out the problem. Steve was such a welcome helper in this situation. You have such a supportive neighborhood there. With your effort and attitude to get on with it and such great people on your doorstep to give a hand when asked, you will surely conquer this new challenge. Keep up the great work and determination. We all admire you for it.
Get well soon Ted!!!
Lisa, please wear a mask when you're sanding. I didn't and ended up with pneumonia and 8 days in hospital.
Wow, you do a beautiful job…it puts many to shame. I do hope Ted is back on deck soon.
Well Done Less brilliant job 👍🤗 🌹🌹🍰☕ Get well soon Ted sorry you had a setback 🌹🌹🍰☕ Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
What a star! Looks fabulous. Get well soon Ted, and Lesa, I don't know how you can breathe with all that plaster dust!
best to you
Hang in there Ted and hope you are feeling a whole lot better very soon 👍🏻🇳🇿New Zealand 🇳🇿🌹
Your editing is really improving SO MUCH, the painting scene was really clever! You have come such a long way since you both “arrived” hope Ted is soon feeling much stronger, it must be killing him to not be able to carry on as he intended.
Inspiring Lesa… you are doing so well with that plastering. Hope Ted is back with you really soon. Thoughts and prayers with you both ❤️
I am glad you managed a few hours off to go to the car rally and I am sure it helped with Ted’s boredom lol
Lesa, another awesome job on the plastering and painting. Thanks for bringing us along on the car show. It was really cool. Ted, my thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. 🙏 ❤
beau travail et, bon courage pour votre mari
