The areas were you find permeable rock, water and heat are more common than talked about here. We are very far from exhausting those areas. Going to enhanced geothermal systems opens up nearly the whole world for geothermal power plants. It is actually strange how little geothermal energy is used for producing electricity, space heating and industrial applications. It produces energy 24/7/365, is inexpensive to run, costs far less to build compared to nuclear and is that abounded, it could provide all the primary energy needs of the USA for example.

Was this channel made by Big Wind and Big Solar? It's not hard to make a propaganda video. This is a propaganda video as well. The truth is that it is impossible to pull off the tom foolery that is the green agenda without first turning the world into a 3rd world country. Do you know the environmental waste that comes from mining batteries. A whopping ton of rare earth metals are needed for EACH wind turbine, along with 500,000 TONS of concrete (FOR EACH ONE). Big Green DOESN'T work and steals billions of dollars from the tax coffers to give us less reliable energy from companies that oftentimes go belly up.

Ummm agriculture transportation is one of the top producers of CO2. NYC's food transportation is the highest in the country. Mid-sized cities are far more sustainable than large cities for this reason. I used to work in NYC and it was full of trash, everyone eats at restaurants, and the businesses' recycling services are scarce, if any. All but one friend moved away from NYC to cleaner mid-sized cities like Miami, Denver, San Diego, and parts of Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Being a recent video is very strange that no mention has been made to the real revolution in geothermal: the deep and everywhere millimetric wavelength drilling by Quaise Energy. That's really seems the future.

It’s not propaganda it’s the truth !! There is no historical evidence at all of a leading correlation between atmospheric CO2 concentration and temperature. Without it, the AGW theory simply falls apart, as 'climate change' is just a new-fangled term for global warming. 'Climate change' became the term to use when there was no warming at all between 1998 and 2016, despite ever increasing CO2 levels in the atmosphere. After the strong El Nino of recent years we are now in a multi years-long 'pause' in temperature rise, even though CO2 concentration continues to rise inexorably. There are no trends at all in extreme weather events including hurricanes and floods, fire burn acreage is at one of its lowest points since records began, and sea level has been rising at a constant 2mm/year for the last 8,000 years - prior to that, between 15,000 years ago and 8,000 years ago it rose 110m after the end of the last ice age. So, there is no 'climate crisis' and 'climate scientists' (actually just modellers, and look at the mess they've made of things recently) have never got any predictions right. We can no more "tackle climate change" than we can turn back the tides - temperatures have gone up and down throughout history, irrespective of CO2 levels. So we must start seriously questioning the 'climate crisis' nonsense being peddled by our government - it will bankrupt us and bring unprecedented restrictions on our freedom of choice and way of life - for no benefit at all.

You missed that cities and suburbs in the Netherlands are cut up into sections or made really windy, similar to us suburbs, except for walking and cycling, which have quick acces and even dedicated through fares, which means it the distance traveled by bike is way shorter than for cars, which really helps the bike win out for short to medium sized trips. Its not just traffic calming, its actively discourcouraging rat running and preventing car from taking the most direct route, and forcing them onto dedicated ring roads, which means for short distances even for a rally driver with empty streets, its quicker to go by bike than by car.

PragerU isn't right about communism either? I have lived half a century in communism and they fall short on that hateful system. If PragerU is equally right about the climate as they are about communism, they are absolutely right about everything. The equation is very simple.

What I know is that “Green” technologies is also a monumental business, I lnow that the western world was built over the fossil fuels, and I know that every millionaire in this world wants to have as many coastal real state properties is possible (the shores won’t be engulfed by the increasing sea level?) but those rich people also use big combustion cars, yatchs and jets to go everywhere including to meet each other in Davos to coordinate how to convince us to do what they not do. By the way, who earn a lot of money with the green extremism? I don’t trust in green “science”.

I get what the author is saying about oil funding driving the message at Prager U. Can't the same argument be made about government funding for scientists where grants go to those who believe that humans are the main cause of temperature increases? If government grants went to neutral scientists who don't know how much of temp increase is man-made, wouldn't the results be more credible? Now I don't know which side to believe.

Fervo's geothermal tech is pretty good, but Eavor's is significantly better. While Fervo relies on fracking tech, Eavor uses a closed-loop system that eliminates the fracking piece and all the problems that go with it. Details on Eavor's KZread channel.

Good summary. Also, people should check out Adam Ragusea's video about ways in which gas stoves actually underperform in cooking compared to electric induction. A big problem is the fossil fuel industry is adept at marketing and business. See how they labeled their product "natural" gas when it's just 99.9% methane (CH₄). Next to mother nature, the 2nd most powerful force on the planet is the fossil fuel industry with their massive annual profits, government subsidies and deep political influence. They own many high-ranking politicians like Greg Abott and Danielle Smith both of whom have zero shame in pushing blatant fossil fuel agenda out in the open. Countries around the world regularly go to war or engage in military operations _on behalf_ of their petroleum industries! As covered, methane has 80X the greenhouse potential as CO₂. In the US alone, there are over 2-million miles of gas piping and small leaks over such a long distance actually equally a lot of waste that directly accelerates global warming. The massive natural gas processing facilities actually freely vent large volumes of methane since its cheaper that way. This is called the *fugitive emissions* problem and adds some 6% annually to greenhouse gas emissions on a pure waste stream that costs the US billions annually. Methane is a lightweight gas that absolutely wants to escape any vessel it's contained within.

It's about progressive governments. While the Australian federal government was conservative, many states had progressive governments which gave rebates, and the cost/benefit ratio was worth the purchase, as well as reducing carbon emissions. Look at US states with higher solar, they will have progressive legislators.

Ice Core Data which is real science shows that at the end of ever interglacial period over the last 300,000 years there was a spike in atmospheric methane. This could be the reason, that at the tundra melts due to the natural rise in temperature and it releases methane. The leap to the "man made climate change" religion, defeats the scientific method completely. I suddenly felt I was at a come to Jesus meeting of some fringe Jesus cult! There has been a spike in temperatures, a break from core data since 1900, which might coincide with mankind's use of "core fuels (no longer are they fossil fuels, except Coal)," and the massive jump in human population which are concerns, but THERE IS NO SETTLED SCIENCE on mankind's carbon output doing anything but greening the earth. So please stop the religion! Let's just stick with science. The only real scientific cause is that the tundra is melting at the end of our current interglacial period, so I guess governments should tax the tundra like they do cows.

The typical, uneducated and opinionated Woke arguments are employed here. Attack the person and their assets rather than question their facts. For example: "....97% of scientists believe that humans are putting CO2 into the atmosphere and that CO2 contributes to climate change..." this fact is so specious it should not even be considered 'science'. It's a fact that man puts CO2 into the atmosphere. It's a fact that CO2 will have an effect on the climate. The real SCIENCE is accurately defining BY HOW MUCH....anything less than that is just Chicken Little screaming 'de sky is a fallin'

It is your information that is the disinformation! Your likely supporting the globalist/alarmist point of view started by the Club of Rome and now the WEF in their bid for totalitarian world government. The WEF has backed your side with tens of billions of advertising world wide, not just a few millions. Name 10 scientists who say definitively that CO2 from hydrocarbons is detrimentally affecting the climate, even the IPCC doesn't. It is the policy makers who interpret incorrectly the IPCC report who make the claims, also in the IPCC mandate they are told to ignore any natural causes of climate change, so their result will be biased. If you are paid to find a specific result you will find it if you wish to get paid!
