  This is really helpful thank you so much. Our two-year-old has been gagging a lot lately and we I really thought it was choking but now watching these videos I realize it’s gagging and I don’t know. We just have to let him get through it himself. You know we’re trying to pet his back and get it out and he’s fine.

  I started feeding my son the same thing we were eating at about 4 months. Of course it was pureed but he immediately quit being cranky and started sleeping through the night. He was suddenly satisfied with his meals. He still had his formula and then later switched to milk

  I'm sorry, these babies are scared. To me you're in for a lifetime of children with food issues. And I'll bet not a one of these parents are cpr/ first aid certified.

  My baby just keeps throwing her food and taking a few bites in her mouth but then spits it all out. Not sure what to do? Has been going on for several weeks. She will eat a little I guess but can’t be sure because she spots it out

  My pediatrician said 4 months, as long as they can hold there head up on their own and have giod control of neck so they wont choke

  My baby can't sit up like this on his own but in the chair, he can sit up straight with his feet planted. He's 7 months old today (born at 37 weeks). I feel crippled because I can't figure out if he's ready for BLW since he can't sit up on his own but can sit up in the chair

  It's not about fun, it's about nutrients formula or breastmilk doesn't provide enough of, some babies don't sit up for 8 months? pureed is fine at 6 months.

  I don't see nothing wrong as long as it doesn't come with health complications...my daughter was born with DS and the only thing zi worry about is her internal health which so far is good. Today I am at the hospital to check her heart and the doctor said nothing too worry about too much so I am happy but still she have appointment 3 months from now to check again

  My kid started sitting at the end of 10th month. Was I supposed to wait until then? Few months later I found out he was severely damaged (autism)...hence the late sitting and late everything

  Hello! So i have just started BLW with my 7 month old twins. My daughter has eczema and seems to flare up when I eat eggs and dairy (through breast milk) how should I go about actually feeding her these foods and should I be close to a hospital my son reacted to cow protein in formula when he was a couple months old but seems to be fine now (I live 45mins away)

  Whats the brand of this mix. When you have picky eaters you have to find ways to incorporate veggies into their diet. Note - never force feed them, or make them sit and eat them til they trow up. That there to the Complainers in the comments is wrong. CLEARLY SHES DOING THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR HER BABY!

  It's OK if they sit in the feeding chair properly they don't need to be able to sit down themselves. Don't confuse people.
