Wonder why all the demos I see are small one “room” units??? Can’t they be made much bigger?
How. An we contact you for an amazing project in Mexico we need to hire a team like yours
Great and all but wouldn't even be legal to live in the US
I live in an area. Which is always affected by hurricane during the summer. Will this resiste it??
If you built a zome out of 2x6 could i spray it with aircrete
That's amazing. Y'all...Domegaia, Aircrete, The Bomb. laying the foundation for the buildings of the future. I am going to look at some land around TN, NC and here in NM. I will be looking to sponsor the worksnop on one of those. Thank you,
Would this material be too light to withstand a hurricane/tropical storms? I live on Carriacou which got totally flatten of hurricane Beryl. 95% av all buildings destroyed or roofs gone. Including my food places which was surrounded in a growing lush garden. I'm now searching for alternativ, low budget...
Can glass fibers be added to aircrete (to increase strength)?
14:00 there are WAY more differences and I’m 100% positive that what you said is illegal to say. It’s not the diploma on the wall. It’s the 7 years AFTER college it takes to get licensed.
Have you built a quonset hut style yet? Thats my goal, but about 30 feet wide and 50 long.
Fabulous job on this place, so full of art and function. Love how Dome Gaia is leading the way to more sustainable living structures close to Earth and all of nature!!!!! Go Dome Gaia!!
I'm curious to know if these homes would withstand Hurricanes?
They hold up great
Your video is interesting, however your background music is incredibly annoying. . . Simply awful.
Aircrete has no structural ability. NONE!
Is aircrete the perfect building material? Judging by the crisis in the UK of buildings that were constructed using this "miracle" material now being prone to collapse. No. No it is not even vaguely close to being "perfect".
With any building material, there are right ways and wrong ways to use it. What they did in the UK was the wrong way and very different from the way that we recommend use aircrete.
@@domegaia No. That's just plain BS you have made up to try and defend your "miracle material" and your business that is all about promoting it. The buildings in question have been examined and studied by experts in the field. To try an work out if there was any malfeasance involved. There was no malfeasance. Turns out that AAC just has a shorter lifespan than concrete by its very nature. It's permeability to moisture makes it more susceptible to corrosion of the reinforcement. And most dangerous of all. It does not display signs of imminent collapse. Meaning there is no warning to take remedial action/repairs or to close a dangerous structure. Does AAC have uses? Yes. Most materials do. Does it perform well in those uses? yes. Just as most materials do in their niche purposes. But it is in no way "The perfect building material" as you ask in the very first line of this video.
@domegaia I’m trying to download the ebook of the aircrete 101, but I don’t see the download button. Do I need to register to the newsletter to get it?
Where in PR is this?
How many sq ft or square meters
I’m living in a shelter due to the housing crisis. This is my “5yr plan.” Either this or a yurt.
Roger Dean's designs come to mind. The form template possibilities are exciting!
Correction @4:10 12R for a 6 inch wall and not 12R per inc "according to your own calculation of R value per inch...
your book says 6 gallons of water to the 94 lb bag. You folks have your terminology, measurements and units scattered all over the place.
Do you have a virtual dome work shop? I can download online?
@domegaia Could you maybe post an update here or on community page regarding what was discussed in the video?
Do you contract to build more than one
Очень много слов и ничего конкретного.
Why do you keep lying about where the word aircrete came from?
Arkansas where?
So cool! Looks awesome
I love the design of it! Where is the bathroom going to be?
#5 is my fav #1 is runner up.
This is a very informative video. Thank you. I’m definitely gonna start making calls and asking questions. By chance, is there a list of places where domes have been approved in the US yet?
I think you guys are based in Hawaii? Can I get your contact info for a possible build?
90 m²! Wow 🤯 It looks huge. That’s is 970 sq ft and around the same size I’m hoping to build.
😃😃😃😍😍😍
Love it ❤

Are there any plans available? I would like to make one from big pieces of Styrofoam. Like make a mold so theire easy to replicate. And setup. Than just plaster over it.
what is the foaming agent? soap?
🖖
A light breeze is all it would take to destroy that shade hahaha. Nice looking structure, can't wait to see updates!
We pray :)
Nice!!
This is so exciting, it is great that you are making these update videos about the progress in Arkansas ❤❤❤️
I would like to know more about the custom glazing. That’s often a huge headache for dome builds.
I’m not sure what you mean by custom glazing?
The design rendering shows floor to ceiling curved glass on at least one side of the build.
Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing the amount of man hours required.
excellent, can't wait
Ive seen people. Buy an old ship. Like single hull oiltankers those cant be used anymore. So their relatively cheap. And they fill the hull with aircreate so even if the hull is to thin and rusted through it will stay afloat. To make it into a houseboat.
Is there anyone in Europe supplying or building these homes?
Imagine the low IQ required to build your house out of aircrete
What is the cost of this material
