I've been an N.C State basketball fan for a very long time, I couldn't be more proud of a team that most people wrote off a long time ago. I'm more proud of coach Keatts who stayed the course even though unfairly hearing his job was in jeopardy

That game was awful to watch in many ways. NC state played awesome defense and did a good job on that tall guy that cant really play. NC state also couldn't make ANY open shots. They got the looks but missed so many open shots. UConn will win by least 20

They played good defense. Offense was next level bad. Couldn't make open shots. And burns was tired every 2 minutes. You get so many timeouts and this guy looked like he got of the couch.

They had an increible year, trips to Italy, Hawaii. They are great representatives of themselves and the uniform they wear. You have to feel for them and salute their coach and staff.

Duke lost the game with 9 minutes left in the 1st half. Burns was benched with 2 fouls. Proctor committed his 2nd foul. Scheyer subbed in Blakes staying with 3 guards. Subbing in Young with Flip, Mitchell, Roach and McCain on the floor would has given Duke a huge advantage down low with Burns on the Bench. NC State was able to keep the game close till halftime. Missed opportunity. Poor coaching by the Duke staff.

It's still mindblowing to me how similar but different this story is to the 83 team with how they had to push through the ACC tournament to get invited to the big dance but the big difference is that this is not the survive and advance team. This team is WINNING, outright! Oakland was the only tight matchup so far and the rest, State's been blowing teams out of the water. It's incredible how much they are thriving in this post season. We knew something was special with the 9-3 start to the season but then we had a few games not go our way. They have truly defined themselves as a new age team of destiny. So proud of what they've accomplished so far!

Filipowski didn’t use his noggin’ this game. He got torched by a guy who weighs like 50lbs more than him because he kept trying to back down Burns Jr in the post. It literally made no sense. And it was on Scheyer to coach him against this. Filipowski needed to face up, and have draw Burns Jr away from the basket so other ppl had driving lanes. One guy beat this team. Scheyer also should have sent more variety of defenders at Burns Jr and make him catch the ball in different spots and hard double on some situations and then pretend to double on others. It was a bad strategy to say “Hey Burns go beat us and we will contain everyone else.” Bc they didn’t contain everyone else, Burns did beat EVERY defender Duke threw out them, and Duke couldn’t shoot the ball worth a lick. Proctor was complete garbage this game. But from an entertainment standpoint, it was interesting to see an old school style of basketball completely decimate a top team. But they’ll get better and Jon made great adjustments in the Sweet 16. He will learn and get better. This team will improve. He already has established a defensive culture at Duke that is great. Every player is committed to defending and rebounding. The offense is next

What a great game. These athletes work hard to be here. The focus and fun that NC State displayed was telling. They came out to win. Great game players. NC State and UCONN are the only 2schools that have both teams in their respective final four. That is great for college basketball.

It was a competitive game. That number next the team is not all there is. NC State came out to win full stop. Their energy was consistent. The top schools from history are no longer locks. There are great athletes all over. Its a team sport and effort.
