Wait what? The MWC doesnt have crazy competition? What are you talking about? 1. Have you seen what this conference plays for OOC? Last season they played 18 Top 25 teams including 3 of the top 4. This season its not much different - the two teams you mentions play Michigan, UCLA and Oregon. The rest of their conference also plays USC, Kansas, Utah, Wisconsin, Auburn, Arizona, Syracuse, Cal, UNC, Stanford, Texas, ASU, BYU, Colorado, SMU, Minnesota, and Oklahoma State. 2. On top of the normal OOC, nearly every team in the MWC (including the two you mentioned) play Oregon State and Washington State as additional OOC games. 3. The MWC finished with the most parity of any G5 conference in 2023 - the Top 5 teams finished within 1 game of each other.
should have worded this differently for sure. the strength of schedule of these teams are very good and they do have a lot of competition OOC. I meant that with the caliber of teams they play and the talent within their own conference it is hard to come out with one team that reigns supreme, sort of all spoiling each others CFP chances
