About Evergreen Overland
Evergreen Overland is a page showcasing my personal interests and the journey I take to explore them. I really enjoy being in the outdoors, tinkering with new gear and most importantly the skills you can gain when you embark on a new adventure or challenge
That’s pretty much what this is. I am going on an adventure by diving into the new to me world of videography, photography, vlogging and everything that goes along with it through my passion for overlanding, camping and exploring the world around me.
Hopefully I can be entertaining and inspiring to you along the way, but mostly I am here to get outside and have some fun!

@pifle9471 il y a 14 secondes that GSi kit sounds like a tin can walmart-made-in-china kit dressed with high heels. Stanley all the way.
You can use a 16 inch rim, but it has to be from certain years. I have 16 inch rims from a 2015 Tacoma on my 02 sequoia and I have the 13WL calipers which are the same size as the 14WA calipers. There isn’t much space between the rim and the caliper but they do not scrape.
I’m glad to see the mods and tips worked
I'm more embarking on this project to seal my bed from mosquitoes
trying to do this cant find the brake lines that would be compatible!
What wheels spacers do you run? do you need them to fit the brake upgrade?
🎊 For future modifications, whenever you rivet two pieces of material together (that you want waterproof), put your bead of silicone/sealant BETWEEN the two materials (like a gasket) NOT on top (like a band-aid). Not only is it bulletproof, but it’s invisible‼️ This is how we waterproof sheet metal construction in the Arctic…and silicone is workable at 50° BELOW ZERO, also.
A person only forgets to lock that handle one time!! Great video!!
You may want to put some silicone under it, to make sure it is completely sealed! :)
Can you send me the parts number for the brake lines you use please
Good review! Thank you!
What is the 5 lb adapter piece doing exactly? Is it a new door you install?
nice!
Just needs some collapsible cups or something similar.
No need to remove drive shaft. Just separate the junction
Watched your video. It definitely got me interested until I checked out the CVJ website. Why would anyone purchase these very expensive axles, pay for shipping, both ways, for axles that as soon as you install them on your off road, lifted vehicle, (for which these axles are sold), voids the warranty? This is exactly what it says for the "Best" axles for my vehicle, "Warranty - When used for off road or in lifted/modified trucks, there is no warranty." Buyer beware!!!
CVJ SU * KS CHECK OUT FORUMS ITS NOT JUST ME
CVJ AXLES CUSTOMER SERVICE & SHIPPING DEPT = ABSOLUTE IDIOTS ! THEY SENT A STEERING RACK TO ME IN ALASKA & BOXED IT IN VERY VERY LIGHT CARD BOARD WHICH SHOWED UP WITH 4 OUT OF 6 SIDES OF BOX HEAVILY DAMAGED. NO THREAD PROTECTION __ BOTH ENDS POKED THROUGH BOX AND DAMAGED THREADS. REPAIR WAS TIME SENSITIVE SO I CHASED/RESTORED THREADS AND GOT ON THE ROAD_ THEY USE UPS WHICH IS DOUBLE THE PRICE OF USPS. OH & 1 LAST THING_ THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT CORE UNLESS IT IS AN ACTUAL ORIGINAL DEALER PART___ A MUCH BETTER COMPANY W/ WAY WAY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EAST COAST GEAR SUPPLY OR NAPA. A BIG 🖕YOU TO CVJ __ THEY CHARGED A $150 TO SEND MY STEERING RACK TO ALASKA. IT SHOWED UP TO MY PLACE A WEEK AFTER PROJECTED DELIVERY DATE , WAS DAMAGED & COST ME A BUNCHA EXTRA TIME & $$$ CUK SOCKAHS
You didn't show anything, you just talked about it.
I got some blue sr5 seats..in a truck I’ve brought I’ve converted my truck with a tilt column, map lighting and the oem bronze tint…
Link for front brake lines please... The original link you put doesn't lead to front brake lines at all
would have been nice if you showed how you mounted it.
How about SOTO GORA ST-950 ?
I don't care for any camping cookware with silicone handles, especially if you ever plan on cooking over an open fire. That reason alone I would chose Stanley in this comparison. JMHO :)
Thanks for the video. I recommend wearing safety glasses when making cuts like you did.
To be honest i saw someone make a swing and an awning but I thought thats ingenious as a canopy. It holds weight and it's stable
Why aren't the sealing surfaces designed flat. Hey, there's an idea. They don't have to be so convoluted a shape, what for...???
Finally. A review where someone actually cooks with them. But also with obvious skill
Glad it was helpful. I want to do some more comparison videos with other comparable brands soon. Thanks for watching
Our outputs shouldn’t be this complicated and expensive! Good review, but very silly, and unsustainable. Most outdoors people I’d hope care about the planet and would stay clear from this polluting contraption 👎
You would be suprised how many people don't give F about sustainable products. I would put this inside boat, if you want sustainable why are you watching this... go poop behind tree
What do you expect when you pay a premium price and get a two-bit BMS in your battery then you wonder why you have battleborn issues.
Hi how do you make the foil rapping round your pans thanks gary
Here’s the video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nJlp3JqHcdLRm8o.htmlsi=-CBNB-s5izkWhL5e
What year Lexus gx 460 cuz it might be important info
I believe, it’s 5th gen 4 runner, and the 2015 and up gx460. Got the info from Timmy the tool man, he does great Toyota work.
Have not seen any videos for a while hope all is well
Thanks for the comment man. I took some time to prioritize the chaos that is having a second kid and it’s been really great. Look for some new content coming out in the next month. I’m ramping back up with big plans for the channel this year.
It’s currently $200 more $659, since this post and for those wondering, they list it in cubic inches 7361.0 IN3 which is 120 liters.
I did a whole passenger side. Everything worked for about a month. the brake bulb already went out.
Good review the ones I’ve seen online are $1500 where can I buy one for 1000?
Honestly, that’s probably just the cost now with inflation. I have one of the older models.
How long have you had it and are you happy with it@@EvergreenOverland
All these comments about a rear-end Collision these tanks are totally safe they don't blow up come on man
Excellent review. The Stanley gets my vote as well.
Love the review, but really have trouble with the machine gun/fast staccato dialogue. As a hearing-impaired person I have difficulty understanding/decoding the rapid fire speech & the captions fly by so fast that they’re difficult to read. Had to play it at .75 speed.
stanley any day
What springs are you runnin on the front to handle the weight?
How did the Auxbeam switch panel work out over time. Thanks.
Good mornin and Merry Christmas. A couple CVj axles came in the other day for my 03' Sequoia. I am really counting on these being good axles! How are your holding up a year later?
Thanks for info. Seems pretty clear. Stanley for the win.
"Mise en place..." The official slogan for "Off-Road Chef America."
Yep, it is key
I noticed the surface you drilled into isn't completely straight. Did you have any trouble with leakage from rain?
I know i'm 5 years behind but that bumper turned out great. I wonder if i can get one for and 86 Isuzu trooper.
Nice work Drew!
lol thanks Man! Now I just gotta get back to making videos again.
love it mate great vid
Hi Jeremy! Like the video! By chance are you running a diff drop? Thoughts?
