    @@verothacamaro yessir it comes standard with up and down shifter. The brand new 24+ had a little better programming so mine will only let you shift down when you're off throttle and a few other little things. I still love it I just wish I could use cruise control under 45 and I think the new ones do that as well. I think that's the only differences.

    My take on Flip-up helmets like the Neotec is that 1) It isn't as safe (Sharp give Neotec 3 a 93% latch success rate, and only a yellow score on the sides) 2) I wear earplugs, so in most situations I'd have to take the helmet off anyways, and 3) I'm afraid that my long beard will get in the way of opening it, as some people have reported 4) With a quick lock strap, there's less of a need for modular But for instructors and police officers, a modular helmet would be great

    @@admireinspire the only video that shows in detail I found, is in German. But it is not necessary to do so, he does it dor aesthetic reasons, he even states that you can simple but 1 or 2 washers underneath the fork bridge and use the OEM screw.

I would need some spacers to put on the underside of the bolt because it's not threaded all the way but I do like that this feels almost exactly like clip ons. I'm going to put it back stock until I get maybe a bunch of washers and I'll probably also run thw clutch cable to the right aide of the frame to make the angle less extreme on the turn of the cable. Thanks for the idea! Edit: went buy washers and ran the clutch cable to the right side of the bike. All is well I like it!

  • @admireinspire
    @admireinspireАй бұрын

    Hell ya. It will pr9bably be a lot to handle initially but overtime I think you'll really be glad that you don't immediately need to replace the bike after a few months. No bike will really just go nuts you can keep it at max power you just have to keep your inputs in check and play around when it's safe to and when you're comfortable. It has a lot of torque but it's only wheelie happy in first gear so for the power I think it's a really safe bike and the rider aids will help in any really hairy scenario. If you can swing the price, ya I'd definitely go 900 xsr or mt09.

    2023 XSR w/Dual can dominator (W/ mid resonator), Air Box and filter and the World Famous VCYCLENUT Tune.. Wow! Good Tone, Good Tone! A little loud, but only when you nail it. Did a -1, +2 sprocket change! No affect to speedometer. Just because I'll never hit 120. Had some luck w/ liter bikes, but I chicken out and they're moving up.... Another EASY EASY improvement is the EBC HH brake pads on the front.. All 4 calipers takes only 15 minutes with a pair of needle nose!! The Pads Slide out the Back.. Remove the two pin clips, slide out the pin.. zip.. zip.. one done. Next.. Might do the rear, but why? Only 420 Lbs, frame is solid as heck. Nice suspension. The rear spring was way too stiff as new, figuring out the front forks. Best bike ever.. The tires are decent, but I can tell they won't last that long. You say Road 6.. heard that from others. Coming up to 1K miles.. Ride in Rain only by mistake. VCycleNut claimed to change something in the quick shifter.. did you notice anything? I really didn't but rarely does my QS refuse the shift.. Trying to figure out a kinda medium wind screen. I Got one that hugs the screen which is good for seeing the screen.. Considering a $$ Puig that looks good, but easily fooled by pictures.

  • @admireinspire
    @admireinspire2 ай бұрын

    I like the brake pad idea. I still have the stock front tire on after like 3800 miles so I'm scared to put on better pads on this old tire but I think it'll upgrade front tire and brake pads together. Qs as far as tune no I didn't notice much I think he says people feel like the tune makes the qs smoother but he doesn't actually change anything. It bucks a little on shifts sometimes but nothing I'd complain about I think it's just shifting faster than the revs can go down to match so there will always be that transmission feedback. I have about 2600k on the rear road 6 and it's still perfectly round I love the tire.
