(I’m from Margate, which is basically east London-on-sea. I grew up elsewhere though so I don’t have the accent but I do go back there often. It’s worth a visit if you haven’t been) So, in my personal experience, a cockney conversation often goes like this: Alwight mate? How you dooing geez? Family all sound? Fahking too right, bruv. Fahking tellin ya but I’ve been fahkin havin a go at it recently and I can fahkin tell ya, mate, it’s been hard as fahkin brass cheese, my brother. Fahkin seriously mate. So basically all you need to do to sound cockney is be overly friendly but sound like you’re about to start a fight, ignore the letter G entirely unless for emphasis, use fahkin or cunt in every third word in a sentence and you’re fahkin sitting pri-e [pretty] you clever little cunt ain’t cha

I'm Scottish, but I live in New Zealand. So people who are from NZ say I have a Scottish accent, and people from Scotland say I have a New Zealand accent. Occasionally my Scottish accent just appears for like a sentence really strongly. So I might just pick a side now, or learn both haha. Any extra tips for a Scottish accent?

It goes even fuhdah. Do everything he says, practice like crazy, (practice what he says, don’t just go listening to actual people!,) then go to your audition, say “fuhduh,”, then go home, wait for the call, and the next day go back to delivering food on your bike.

In a loud place my voice just disappears, even if i shout the tone of my voice is just gets drowned out by the noise around me. It's so frustrating. No one hears me so I just can't converse with people.

I’m doing ok with this one(I just watch Archie Bunker for a bit) , contrastingly, I am finding a competent/fluent sounding Irish accent is harder to master than I ever imagined. I always end up sounding like John Lennon in one of his interviews before he died or worse, such as some Scottish bloke.☮️😂

Elongation of vowel sounds in Essex is similar to Aussie I find. American (USA) sounds more Irish and Scottish to me. I’m from Essex with Irish Scottish roots!
