  Yes sir, true, I don't always follow the notifications (I used to). Main reason is, alot of the wonders are not really impactful in the game other than their era score, so I try to focus on the major ones being built and watch as close as I can the races for those important wonders. I believe you should find me game after game looking at who built Etemenanki, Forbidden Palace, Terracota Army, Ruhr, Oxford University, etc.

  Honestly when was the last time we ever saw Cossack making any impact? Russia is always lagging late game, making cossack irrel. And in general Russia is just weak imo

  It really depends how you play Russia and what strenghts are you focusing on. Its a very good all-around civ if played properly. If you look for example at Ben's gameplay in the CWC games. I believe you shouldn't focus as much on culture development/tourism if you cannot defend properly. IE, you have enemies close, you know you don't have enough science, you know you don't have time. This knowledge does come with a lot of experience

  For sure its not the right play. He probably considered since there are only a few tiles there, its too "costly" to send a unit to scout. I have no other reason :shrug: . You should always pick up huts

  The Ibrahim change is pretty big, but it is also 4 promotions in. I'm guessing the 4th-tier promotion was to incentivize Ottoman players to fully promote their unique governor. I get the feeling he's going to become a late-game conquest governor
