Wellll, an interesting video, but you should include some more information: about arrival time (did it shave off any of delay or did it actually increase?), did you catch your non-connecting flight? And I'm also curious why did it take a very southern route (over Spain)? Normally the flights from Europe to North America take the route over New Foundland and down along the east coast or slightly more to the south, but not that much (unless leaving from Madrid or Lisboa).

I flew Taipei to Amsterda just 4 weeks ago. This flight also involved a 1.5 hour stop-over in Bangkok. This airline is a true gem. I have flown them many times and they are consistently outstanding. Much better than the European airlines on this route. In economy you can either have a 3-3-3 or 3-4-3 configuration on flights to Europe. The slightly older 777-300ER planes in use have the 9 abreast. It is a little hit or miss. Legroom in economy is great though at 33-34 inch. Roomier than the competition. Food is great, but focussing more on the Asian dishes. Eva Air is my preferred airline for flights to Asia. Thanks for your report. I enjoyed it.

@@dedonghuang7026Goodmorning, If you book a flight direct to TPE they will charge you and book you for the whole flight in the same class. I,e, you book premium economy to TPE and fly to TPE in premium economy, no matter that you make a technical stop in BKK. If you don't want that for some reason you have to book AMS - BKK in premium economy and BKK - TPE in economy. Or any other combination, of course. In case of a non-standard travel request simply call EVA Air. I hope this helps.

I guess I am confused. There are very few airlines that operate across the North Atlantic that offer two full meals in Y class. From what I can see, you had a seat, a really good (well presented for sure) first service. The second service was not impressive. However it is any less impressive than anyone else flying across the NAT. So my question, what aspect of this service is any less competitive than anyone else? One can argue that airlines should do more, but unless someone actually goes there, nobody will. Nobody should blame Swiss for staying competitive.

It’s still as dense as a 3-3-3 config which is plenty comfortable for economy but this also gives you the option of flying on the 2 seater config side of the place which can be even more comfortable (like in the Airbus a330/340 seating layout). I love the Japanese airlines!
