  I enjoy that you are honest. Fabulous. Indeed it looks like it does highlight how downright sorry the UK is otherwise. Personally I think AT needs an Extreme Spinner a la RTH. I don't think Merlin will splash out. Well, I didn't think they would, but now they have one MACK 🤔

  I really enjoy Hyperia the loop stall is my favourite. I went to thrope park in June and Hyperia was closed. Did my first over night stay in July and went on hyperia seven times. The only trouble i find is people queue jumping.

  @@LoopThemeParkAdventures a shot and drop is where it shoots up drops down then gets lifted back up slowly then shot down a drop (volcano) shoots up and makes its way back down slowly

  Absolutely awesome coaster, terrible theme and area. Brown, brown and more brown, plus a lot of bark chippings, which are also brown... Oh and a swamp, and uncovered hardcore rubble all over the place. Very rough around the edges and clearly rushed to open and not finished/ran out of money. But the coaster is great. Honestly, fantastic.

  I can understand leaving the splashdown as it was if the landscaping budget cut was made last minute, hopefully Thorpe will develop the area in the coming years. (Though Alton failed to do this with ‘air’ so…😬) I just wish they had decided what they were doing beforehand, something as small as a little bunny hill would be better than this, even with the trim brakes included.

  It looks incredible and I'm sure that drop and outerbank are amazing, but I do think it's a little overrated simply because it's in the UK and the UK literally doesn't have any other modern coasters other than Icon (which is quite tame).

  There are still people outside the UK that rate it highly e.g. Coaster Studios. Since it is such a unique ride, people I have wildly contrasting opinions. Some rate it above the likes of steel vengeance and VelociCoaster, while others think the big one is better 😭

  @@goblinwoblin7820 Obviously the ride is good, but the general consensus I’ve seen from American thoosies is that it’s A tier and not S tier. Still a lot better than anything the UK has gotten since Nemesis though.

  @@MrPatrickbuit To be fair, I've ridden almost 300 worldwide, including many of the real big hitters, and while Hyperia wouldn't crack my overall top 10, I'd still probably have it in the nest 20-25 in the world right now. It's all personal opinion tho, and nobody is really wrong 😊

  I think they probably repaint the ride in the future. With gold rush opening soon budget was spent elsewhere but can definitely see repaint in the next year or 2 with how good looping group have been with Drayton Manor 🙂

  Never got to ride it as a stand up but I did ride it in it's current version a week after opening. I loved it! the lap bars were so comfortable and way better than any type of over the head restraints!!

  I was there today completly agree with your review. I am wondering if this park would benefit from changing their opening hours from 4 till 2am. People love to eat out late. We had to go home when the temperature was perfect for walking round 7.30 rides close. 8pm park closes. I mean what are the points to all the cafes and shopping and of course the lights and the rides. Defo a late afternoon to late evening might be an option

  Food in the park is quite reasonable, and there are a few places around the park to eat, including a McDonalds on the roundabout and a few local options 😊

  Honestly i love fantasy Island also magic has never span the other way always been clockwise runs a automatic pre set cycle now and the rides on rotation has nothing to do with staffing its because it isn’t busy so why keep rides open when nobodys on them and the spinning coaster is still being built and everything etc its built in house by the mellors

  Great vlog. Odyssey does look impressive. ..but then I've never done an SLC. 3 rides at the Hoppings for about the same price as a wristband. And I bet the market does hoodies with howling wolf motives, so a winner in my book. 😂 Wonder if they'd buy the Zierer coaster from Flambards.
