    It is funny that there is a difference in which colors are easy to get in the different countries. In Denmark, white is the most common color, at least 50% of all Teslas are white, probably because it doesn't cost extra.

    I have a brand new Model Y Performance. While I like the video, I still have questions. I like the animation when you turn the car, but wondering how it looks like while driving both at day and night. For example, I saw the cyber light lit while you turn it on, but does it stay lit all the time once the car is moving (Forward or reverse)? This would be illegal here in Tampa Florida. When does the cyber light lit? On Reverse? Left/Right turns? Emergency lights? Which lights are on when you drive? Which ones blink?Looking forward to your quick reply before I install it on June 29th. Thanks

  • @RatsTesla
    @RatsTeslaАй бұрын

    It’s just a late bar that goes between the two tail lights. It lights up when the lights are on and it is off when the lights are off. I don’t know how that would be illegal in Florida since there are car manufacturers that make this as part of a stock car. So I don’t know how it’s illegal, but it does turn on when the lights turn on and off when the lights turn off I will tell you that I did take it off of my car because the lights on the brake side were not as bright as I liked them.

  • @RatsTesla

    It stays lit all the time. It is a connector between the brake lights.

    If you set them both to half of what you’re allowable charge voltages, then you can charge both. Otherwise, it switches from primary to secondary when the primary is done charging.

    @RatsTesla for one thing, it's simply messy. The second reason for me would be that the system is designed around multiple Gen 3 chargers on one run. The app, of course , is able to manage the loads of the line and the demands of the vehicles. The third reason would be the first reason. Conduit is your friend. What would be interesting is to build a double pigtail and plug in both cars, and see how that is managed. At home, you're using that on-board charger it looks like in service mode. Because the car can operate off after market chargers, it may just work as long as your car setting is set to split the Amp load of your breaker. The other thing is using the gen3? For the x,s is an 80 amp charger on a 100 amp breaker if a guy can handle that load on the wire. Then, you're of course 40 amps on one charger for each car with the unit mounted between cars with dual tails coming from it. Just some ideas, I have one for two cars, and we just swap it to the other car when you unplug, and it's mostly okay as my wife works from home. If we both drove the same times, I imagine we would have to do two 60-amp breakers because we drive 100-mile round trips. Best video I saw was the guy plugged into his neighbors house. If they are going to be forced to pay for the tax credit, why not make them pay for some juice too.

  • @RatsTesla

    @Patriot3 to each their own. I have been using this setup for over 6 months and it has worked great. I specifically did this so I don’t have to go swap the plug in the middle of the night. Also, what would I put in conduit? These are all extension cords. And it’s in a garage who cares about messy. It works for me and would work for many other people.

    Hi, great video. I just discovered if you buy direct from Halo Blk it is significantly higher than buying it from Amazon. You purchased the "Package A" for $182, on Amazon it is $119. I purchased the "Package B" for my M3 from Amazon and it was $180 whereas ordering directly from Halo Blk would have been $286.

    If you put in a pair of Gen 3 wall chargers and share the circuit both chargers that can be set to run on one circuit and not over draw the amperage since they communicate up to 6 Gen 3 chargers on a single 240 volt circuit (48 amp max) - Its all set up in the App. I currently have set up 2 Tesla Gen 3 combo wall chargers for a Cadillac Lyriq and a ford F150 lightning on a single 48 amp circuit in my garage. It was super easy and I never have to think about when to charge since both can charge at the same time or one at a time based on the state of charge.

    Do we know for sure this is a USS vs no-USS and not a HW3 vs HW4 camera difference? I'd be interested to see how a no-USS on HW3 does it. My friend has a no-USS/HW3 car but he is on 2024.8.7 before the free trial started so he is still waiting for a newer version of the FSD software on a branch higher than 8.7 to get his trial.

  • @TripleXReborn

    @@sullfolife the only reason I have heard some places say “Do not back into spot” is because they don’t want engine exhaust going onto the foliage/sidewalk/into front doors of homes. I had similar signs at a town home complex I lived at in the US. Obviously if those are the reasons (I personally don’t see how any other reason could be justified), then the point is moot in a Tesla and you can back in anyways.
