  The way I learnt it was, when backing in, when your rear door handle is seen over the curb begin to steer the other way. Make sure to slow a little and you will park well.

  The only thing is that this won't always be exact. People don't know how to park on the streets. I believe in you, though. As long as you don't hit anyone and put more time into it, you will be just fine 😊

  Only 1 negative - when you live in a high density area, you can - no, must - park considerately to maximize use of available space. Ideally you only 1.5 - 2 feet between you and the other 2 cars bumpers. I've seen 3 cars take up the space that could have easily parked 5 cars. Sometimes it can't be helped but try not to be 'that guy'. Eventually karma will catch up to you.

  Why on earth would anyone ever do this? I've been driving 40 years and never heard of this. Seems very dangerous. There will almost always be people behind you. Just turn around in a parking lot. When did they start requiring this on a driver's test?
