  5 days ago i got diagnosed with early stage periodontitis. I got 3 pocketd with 6mm the rest of my teeth is between 4 and 5. I am feeling really sad about it. I have Crohn's disease and the dentist thinks because my immune system is getting oppressed by my medication i got it. My own dentist just stoped working, he always said to me that my gums were receding but that it is normal when your getting older (32 now) my new dentist did a scaling and then she found it ( my old dentsist never did this) bougt a waterpik to and went from flossing to those brushes. I am still in a lot of pain and still bleed a lot but everything heals slow with me because of my medication. I feel really sad and stressed and i am so afraid it wil not heal or that i do something wrong. But it helps to know that i am not alone
