Investment Joy

From evicted & poor to OVER 100 rentals + Car washes, Laundromats, and a Trailer Park! I'm your no-fluff investor/entrepreneur channel!

My dad drove a truck and mom sold Avon growing up. When I turned 18 my dad had a heart attack and was unable work for the rest of his life. Instead of college I had to go work at a warehouse (Twin bro got a job picking up garbage). Lost the house and I had to live with grandma while the rest of my family moved to a small apartment.

Fast forward to today (I'm 34 now) and I own rentals, laundromats, car washes, and a trailer park, I continue to invest, buy properties, and upload videos about both how I did it and how you can too! (Insert marketing gimmick here). It's never easy but I BELIEVE that with enough time and effort anyone can do it!

The laundromat owners never owned that machine. Those are never sold by the vending company .

No money in vending, I had 12 locations and between gas & filling the machines every few days & the cost of buying the cases of soda, not enough profit, I had snack machines too, same thing, can’t raise prices they will just get them somewhere cheaper, sold them all took the loss and moved on

Forget the storage units put car lifts in each one and rent out to auto mechanics or rent on an hourly basis to home mechanics.

I worked at Pepsi in the late 90s as a refrigeration mechanic. The amount of vending machines that we repaired were still full of cash and drinks. The most we got out of the coin mechanism was around $450 but on average we would get around $2OO-250 out of every machines. We would keep all the cans also

Oh, so it's another way to micromanage employees and track what they do/use via employee number. A less convenient and less useful version of a storeroom that you have to pay to rent and stock. What a dumb idea.

So as someone who ACTUALLY works for Fastenal, let tell you something. The customer already owns all of the product in the vending machine. The vending machine is more used for keeping track of how much product they use and for Fastenal to know when its time to bring out more product. Sometimes, they have to set limits on how much they can get of each item, for example, the employee can only get a new pair of gloves once every week/month. Its very handy for them to have hot items in stock at all times. Not all customers are approved for it. They have to be buying X amount from us or be planning on buying X amount. And like I said, they own all of the product if they don't want the machine anymore all of the product gets taken out, handed to them, and we come and take the machine away. Hope that helps people understand this better!

This the exception to the rule Most vending machines used and in working order which is key are a lot more 500 -1000. . Like anything else it's location location so beware on average most machines. Return about 250 - 300 a month .
