I've been using the cooler trick for years and I love it! It started with a weekend away (surprise) 50th b-day party 17 years ago for my partner with 35 people at a large house in Ojai where we really lacked fridge space for the crowd we were feeding. I spatchcocked 15 chickens at home and kept them in the cooler in a wet brine, monitoring the temperature via a digital thermometer, for 3 days, and holy F! they were a delicious hit. I adapted it to take poultry to The Playa, which is always a thing if one is trying not to have a footprint the size of Texas, and it was the best trick ever. I'm an evangelist for this method!

I absolutely love Stanley Tucci in every role I've seen him in! He's such a great actor. And he has the most beautiful soulful eyes! I would love to have an audio book with him as the narrator. He just has the most soothing voice! And of course we all love Ina. I completely enjoyed this interview.

I would love to hang in the kitchen and cook with both of them! I recruit Executive Chefs for 5* hotels around the world and Stanley Tucci’s own cooking is just as inspiring as the pros. If he hadn’t been such a great actor, I would have loved him as a candidate. This is a very cool interview. will buy the book!

I SO agree with the critique of Ina's hyper-intense invasive style. GEEZ! Tone it down and concentrate on Julia. I met her as well while attending the opening of the display of her kitchen. Her iconic copper pots and pans were on display at Copia in Napa, California, I could not watch this entire video!

Love this so much. When I made Emily Blunt's potatoes for my mother she said, "Finally, one of my daughters can cook!" I always picture my mom saying that in Julia Child's voice. My parents live in Maine and we never miss an opportunity to make a Tucci/Fortitude joke--too good.

How lovely that Stanley well remembers what a fabulous cook Natasha Richardson was and how she loved to entertain friends and family. And everyone was astonished watching Julia at her naturalness in the kitchen. Loved the segue into the movie and a remembrance of the late great Nora Ephron who was such a joy to read and listen to and she brought joy through her writing and directing to so many. All 3 live on through their work and our hearts full of their wit.
