    I currently use the Vice Pro Air as my 3 piece gamer ball as I have a very slow swing speed ( several back surgeries ) of 85. The Duo Soft is intriguing to me for days where a 2 piece may be a better choice for me. Great review.

    I have been playing the Callaway super soft and the BridgestoneE6. I found a Sift Response and it was a decent ball. I’m 62 & all are good for my slower swing.

    Bro, nobody needs a new putter in 2024 unless they don't have a putter. If you golf then you should already have a putter. Save your money, the new tech isn't all that. These people just get paid to promote this shit.

    Just replaced my evnroll ER2 with the jailbird mini. Day and night difference with my putting. If you’re on the fence about a mallet just do it. The club is so much more balanced and swing so much more controlled than a blade

    I got a set SM10 in April my first and last vokey purchase, just felt very hard off the face and no feel or control around the green. Looking at either Ping or Mizuno. Overrated

    Looks like they've had a reset, and gone back to a basic wedge design with a new refined shape... i like the idea of the tungsten weight on the platinum version to move cg higher up the face, meaning lower launch, higher spin. I dont like the price tag though

    Never gamed these despite using TM P790 irons . Friend gave me an X to try last week on a par 5 and an instant birdie. Crushed a long drive which felt really good followed by a 3 wood off the deck then a chip onto the green. Need to buy a sleeve to test out but impressed so far. How would you rate these against the Vice Pro+ I have previously been using?

    I play with 44-45 year old Eric Brown Blades which I bought 2nd hand in very early 80’s. Late last year, I tried out the very latest blades on the market. I hit the new blades on average 5 to 8 metre longer but all of them with a distinct draw something I do not with my Eric Browns. Summary; could not see the justification in purchasing today’s new blades over my Eric Browns. I generally only play 3 to 4 times a year if I’m lucky. I average around 7 to 12 handicap level.

    I’ve been a subscriber to seed 01s and more recently 02s since last quarter of last year. Excellent ball for the price. I’ve just cancelled my subscription (dozen every 8 weeks)as the last 3 orders that were due were late with no contact from seed as to why but they would take my money. They were out of stock!I had to chase up every time and get my next day delivery reimbursed. They have no stock again of either ball I use and almost certainly wouldn’t honour my next due subscription orders. Great ball and if they’d sought out their serious issues, I’d be happy to go back.

    The MD5 Jaws Wedge has the same standard grooves on the face as the Opus Wedge and also features tiny micro-grooves cut between the main grooves, which I would expect to provide better spin.

    People use giant drivers, etc now and are excited to pay $600 for the new one but can’t accept a slightly larger and better designed iron that goes as far and is easier to hit than irons designed with engineering from 200 years ago, no experience we have today, no new metals or AI input. Whatever. Pay your money and make your choice.

    Right off the bat a comparison between your own club fitted for you and an off-the-dustiest-rack club is not comparing apples with apples. Get a new iron that isn't fitted for you.

    Ball speed, for example, has a lot to do with timing, as you say, which has a lot to do with familiarity with the tool you're using. Speed variations on the oldies were much higher, which is either a smaller sweet spot (club's fault) or mistiming (familiarity - your fault). Methodology is invalidating your result

    Can't wait for the OPUS raw to come out soon also it is doing what they say it does: It's 2-3 degrees lower in launch with the higher CG and spins 500-1000 more with the same distance comparison. really good stuff.

  • @moorcroft69
    @moorcroft6915 күн бұрын

    The raw wedges actually decrease spin, not the opposite. It’s the grooves that provide spin and when they are all rusty the grooves can’t dig in. Don’t fall for the marketing of ‘raw’ wedges.

    The SL model used to be kind of a smaller profile and that’s what made them so popular, I was at PGA superstore so I chewed them out, they are huge! The SL model is usually a big seller for them and I don’t see this one moving a whole lot of units.
