Seasoning your cast iron skillet with several layers is not for the non-stick effect. It is to protect your skillet from rust. You will not get the quality like Teflon coating. If you really want the non-stick effect, just properly care for the iron coating of your cast iron skillet. It is easier than you think. Just wash your skillet or remove the thick layer of greasy carbon with an electric drill and a wire brush. Or you can use any other method you like. Then treat it with white vinegar. After that, wipe the skillet well with a dry cloth or paper towel. Do not dry your skillet on the stove or in the oven after white vinegar. There is one last step left. Just grease your skillet with a thin layer of vegetable oil. And that's it. Your skillet is ready to cook.

I am looking for some help with Super Match 54 if you can. I recently inherited an Anschutz 54 Supermatch (circa 1963 I believe) and unfortunately the bolt was removed and disassembled and I don't know how to put it back together. Do you know of any resource (pdf, book, video, etc) that can show me in detail how to assemble the bolt and then put the bolt back into the rifle?

I want to thank you so much for this video. I recently inherited cast iron pans from my father. He was an old gold minor. I grew up going to the mountains with him where we cooked over an open fire. These cast irons pans and skillets were in bad shape. Rust and build up. I tried to scrub with steel wool for two days. Your method in the oven took them down to the metal. They look great. I almost gave up. Thank you again!!! Best wishes!!

He says DO NOT USE WD-40, that must be because this may loossen up parts from being secured, i do not know other than the fact this substance does not last, anyway i do not take any hand gun apart, i look for an opening in the gun to blow out any loose dirt, then i drown the gun in oil and either blow the excess out or let lt drip dry, than wipe the outer parts dry........YOU HAVE TO BE NUTS TO TAKE A REVOLVER APART OR BE A GUN SMITH....I have had revolvers the past 60 years and have never taken any of them apart....IF IT WORKS ,DO NOT FIX IT !......STUPID VIDEO, anyone who follows this guys advice is just looking for problems, and that's a fact....

My two mini's are about 10 yrs old and never used. Love this vid. Was wondering how to gravity feed the gen. one filter and your tip is perfect. No adaptors to buy or lose. Also, love the screw protector idea. I'm guessing there may be a shelf life for new and unused filters......anybody?? Thanks GM

I use about a 10% solution of Simple Green and water in my ultrasonic cleaner (same as what's in video). Solution temp is 60 dgrees C which is 140 F. Baffles are titanium and come out extremely clean after 20 minutes. Don't use an undiluted solution unless directions tell you to do so. Simple Green works best in a water solution.

Why can’t a bronze brush be used on a blued revolver? Its still softer than blued steel no? It scratches the finish on blued guns, but not stainless steel? thanks

Im disappointed with my DWX compact w/Rail! …. It slides okay, but the slide feels loose, & wiggles {Sideways & up & down} on the front OUT OF THE BOX 🤬. My P07 is tighter then this POS ! The DWX trigger is NOT worth $2,000.00, ESPECIALLY for Concealed carry…. I Waited so long & then spent money, only now im regretting it so much that i dont even want to Shoot it! I called Dan Wesson & they say its normal as long as the Barrel Locks up with the Slide ! 😡. BTW remember its brand New & the bottom of the Barrel has gouges & pitting, that the DLC finish clearly did not take too! There No way I could have seen that before buying it! I THOUGHT DAN WESSON WAS SUPPOSED TO STAND FOR QUALITY, & I THOUGHT i was getting a HIGH END FIREARM!…. Clearly i wasted my money

I made a crate system like this using the zip ties for hinges. I think I need to make the slots bigger as it ratchets tighter and tighter with each opening. I saw another diy using offset cabinet door hinges. I think they would be sturdier and Align better. Buy heavier stiffer crates over lighter.

Is the brass screw Straight blade or Philips ? Good video I getting ready to do my 686 barrel that Smith& Wesson says is "in the spec" It looks like the folks at Smith carve the end of the barrel with a Dremel tool.

A few tiny drops of oil or clp in actionable parts would suffice, work the action a bit and let it do it's job. Any use thereafter will help keep the parts moving and well lubed without gunking up the works.
