I feel like that's an apple problem and not a computer designer problem, every windows laptop ive seen still have a regular USB port then all you need is an sd reader
Probably.
Hay Doug I don’t think that Amex bus cards have family language yet so my wife has had the bus plat and received a bus gold bonus recently
Hi TDD! Yeah, in hindsight, I think you're right. Though would any of us be surprised if they implement it tomorrow???
Crazy idea - did you do a frame by frame analysis of your quick video? If even a tiny aberration in that area, would prove your story…
It's a good idea! Unfortunately, there is only a split second where I show the windshield, and it's very zoomed out and there is a massive reflection of an overhead light, so you can't see squat. :(
And then for the interior I'm only filming the dashboard. I'm yelling at myself "RAISE THE PHONE YOU MORON!!!!!"
Great video! I didn't see an add at the end so looks like it doesn't show for recordings and just lives edit: typo
Thanks Isaac!!! Appreciate the input.
The majority of people don't need a sd card, i prefer more ports to use the computer how i want it, instead of having a sd card reader which ist collecting dust
Frankly I'd take either .... :)
I did not own a car for 10 years, used public transportation, my wife did. I used to rent cars from Enterprise for road trips for 2 weeks paid $250, $10 a day on the weekend off season and 150 miles to use during the rent. My last time I rented a car was August 2021 during, the cost was higher but luckily they gave me BMW since they had shortage of cars. The rental for 2 weeks during pandemic jumped from $250 to $1400 due to shortage, since they sold a lot their fleet cars as other companies did. I decided to buy a new Toyota Camry Hybrid LE, logged 61K miles in 34 months, I am on a road trip from Portland to San Francisco along the stunning California northern coast Highway 1, visited Mendocino, Napa, Sonoma, Petaluma, St. Helena, Tiburon, Mill Valley, Sausalito. At the moment resting at Hampton Inn in Suisun City before I head to Berkely for dessert then to San Francisco. I do not want to deal with car rentals due higher price, old car with dents and dirty. I do travel alone many times, have to think about travel costs, if I ever rent a car, I would use American Express and pay for the trip insurance, they have excellent customer service, worth extra fee and peace of mind. Your videos are catered for the average person which I like , I can relate to. I wish you have video timestamp.
-.-
Am I the only one thinking “god damn that’s loud”😂
LOL. :)
ah. apple, theres your problem
@@Ryan31310 A valid criticism 🤷♂️
Very nice man! My efficiency grew exponentially once I got the MacBook!

Doug, Im glad you got a new laptop :) Apple makes great hardware but yes I do question some of their choice on design(its done to make money and save money). I have a Mac Mini M2 and a custom PC. If your coming from Windows or Chrome you may have a steep learning curve. Apples old slogan "think different"
@@engineerengineer2218 Thanks Engineer! I was a big time Mac guy from about 1994 - 2002. 😄 That startup noise was very nostalgic. 🎉 Well see how I re-adapt!
I’ve been working through this process myself. Couple strategies I’m employing to trim down cards: 1) What is the actual benefit and do I want the ‘work’? Example, FNCs. If I pay $95 for a card and get a hotel room for $200, do I care? 2) If I didn’t spend on this card for the multiplier, what would I do instead? What’s the actual difference in return vs increased effort to maintain? 3) Is my work on this card automated or manual? The AmEx Platinum digital credit is easier than the Hilton Surpass $50/q credit. 4) What cards are really the most important to me? Example, a 2x card is a better earner than the AmEx Platinum or Citi AAdvantage Elite but I like status benefits and lounges when I travel more than I like that additional x. That’s not everything but it’s the general thought process. There’s definitely an inflection point here where we are stepping over dollars to pick up pennies by not dedicating our mental resources somewhere else.
If you're buying a usb hub, why not just get a hub with an sd card reader?
That's a good idea, but would not be as funny. :)
love these!
@@AboveAllBeOriginal thanks Cask!
This video popped up when I was trying to insert SD Card in the adaptor lol😂😂
@@Curious_Bro404 Awesome 😎 I’m glad 😀
Love the analogies 😂 great stuff man!
@@Xavier_ID. Thanks so much Xavier! 😎😎😎
I might try that strategy of canceling my IHG Premier card after 2 years. But instead of simplifying I would just apply for the card again to get another bonus lol. I’m not ready to simplify yet but I see the benefits of it
@@JacobsPointsAndProfit Sound solid! Incidentally, I’m recording something right now about the desire to simplify. 😊🥳 basically, my conclusion is, it’s merely a matter of personal preference on how many cards you feel comfortable holding.
My ears were wide open on this video! I loved the 🚗 analogies ! 100% accurate as someone who has had close 100 cards
@@keyKEYadventures I think of you pretty much anytime this topic pops into my head! I have enough knowledge to know that there is no harm in holding 100 credit cards, but the paranoid side of me would pass out, trying to keep tabs on them all the time. 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for commenting, key!

Dugroz is big mad over little ports.
Big mad!!! 🤔🤔🤔😡
Just wait until everything is Bluetooth/wireless, even the charging.
@@Jens_the_Viking I’m sure!!!! 😬
All valid points mi hermano! 🫵 Credit card simplification can be challenging for sure. This year I cancelled 3 cards and added 4 (Failed)😂 Great video and information.
There's no "yield vs no sign" at a cross street intersection. It would require a minimum of a 2-direction stop sign. Yield signs can only be for merging one path into a street and only in a particular direction (such as a ramp or a one-way street merging into another street).
@@featherpony Growing up, my hometown had multiple intersections where, say, north and southbound had yield signs, and east and westbound had nothing. 🤷♂️ Now that I think about it, I almost never see it anymore though. Is it just a localized thing maybe?
Check out this intersection on Google street view: www.google.com/maps/@41.0446507,-92.4018642,3a,75y,92.16h,88.45t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sh10HE5sWh0edc2Dy_W_aeg!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?authuser=0&coh=205409&entry=ttu
