    Will it pick up acorns? Imagine a semi dump truck spilled 18 millions acorns on your yard. I use a lawn sweeper for my leaves as I am doing two acres. But it will not get all the acorns.

    Got mine 3 months ago, works great no issues no raking! Got the smaller one that is $650 works great. I was on the fence about it don’t be; it sure as hell beats raking! The hardest part is lifting the leaves into the dumpster and unzipping the bag. It gets full and heavy. So worth the money!

    These are really cool machines. My friend found an old cast iron billy goat from the 70s or 80s left in a warehouse. I emptied the old gas, cleaned the carb, and it fired right up and cleared all the debris in the yard. The suction power is amazing. The one we got has the old 5hp B&S.

    I don't see the point in this. You can hit a bunch of balls with a regular shag tube. When I first saw this thing I thought it was a device to put your ball on a tee for you. If it teed the ball up for you then that would be great because it would save a lot of wear and tear on my back. But if all it does is place the ball on the ground I can do that with anything.

    I also have a Billy Goat. I have the human propelled (human push) version. I've had it for many seasons now. I don't wait until the 'end of the season' to use it, as I am not a contractor. I find it so easy to use, and it produces a stellar, sanitary, well groomed result. I use it every couple of days during the season. Its quick and fairly EASY. It produces ground up leaves, excellent for mulching. Contractors must be comparing this to a heavy duty debris loader. For them, blowers and a debris loader makes much more sense. To maintain your own yard, with a beautiful result, this is a great tool.

    Don't buy a Billy Goat, they are piece of shit! The reason he only did two passes is because he would have been full of dust and debris when they bag gets too heavy and starts blowing leaf chips out the side! I called the manufacturer and they sent me to the local repair shop to get it looked at, they said there is nothing wrong with it they just blow a bunch of crap all over the user. The speed control is a joke also, it goes from slow to slower to stop, they shouldn't be lowed to sell such a piece of crap! Buyer beware! I have been trying to get this mess straightened out for over a year and I keep getting more pissed every time I have to use it because they say it works the way it's supposed to.

    These are garbage. If your hitting a ball correctly and taking a divot at some point your gonna have to move the thing or use your club and place the ball in another spot. Same thing as in after a few shots with a bucket tipped over you'll move the ball where you like and not in the divot. Such a gimmick. Lol save the 30 bucks and get some new balls for your round

    how long does it take to clean your lawn....if you wait till the end of the leaf season

  • @dinobowwow
    @dinobowwow8 жыл бұрын

    +john reinke the best way to figure that out is about the same amount of time as takes you to cut your lawn my lawn is 100 ft wide so depending on how thick the leaf pile is you might have to empty every 4 or 5 passes. vacuuming is the easy part after bag is full I would pick this up from Amazon makes unloading easier. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VPA6CI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00

    My friend has one or these. It has been in for repair three times in two seasons. It takes over 100 pulls to start. (Honda "Easy Start" engine) The chain drive mechanism broke and had to be repaired after only a few uses. In the shop now. In my opinion, Billy Goat is junk and no one should buy this company's products.
