1989 We were in a Beaver float plane landing on a lake in Canada for a few weeks of fishing. Nobody else within two hundred miles however the night prior to apparently a storm had kicked up and the Lynd (sic) twelve foot aluminum v-hall had come untied and drifted into the landing lane. Beavers are larger floats and some in the 1970’s production run had a huge Pratt and Whitney PT6A Turbo Prop which made the difficult pilots view even more so, seems to always be flying or landing with a 20-24 AOA making seeing this small boat even more difficult. We struck it roughly six seconds after touching the water. Tore off the left pontoon which brought the left wing seemingly straight into the water. Happened so quick couldn’t begin to imagine exactly which direction, speed or angle we flipped. Next thing I remember is my training to “watch the direction of the bubbles” and follow them. Devastating day.

Great video. Very good length. Good use of fast forward. Neither you nor Rednecks Gone Wild mentioned washing the parts before use. I'm no germaphobe, but it's a good practice for anything which will touch your food. If you did it off camera, you should have mentioned it. Maybe you did and I missed it

well we can't speak for the rest of the continent but we sure do enjoy it. And honestly I think lots of hunters do it for different reasons. Some for the sport and the thrill of being outdoors, and others for meat and sustenance. For us its kinda all the above :-)
