Paolo Giacone

Paolo Giacone

A warm welcome on my channel!!
Here you find a rich selection of recordings from my organ concerts and liturgical activity.
Concert activity in important churches in Europe. As church musician I am titular organist of the Lutheran Church in Torino, Italy, and also of the Vegezzi Bossi organ at the Sanctuary Sant'Antonio di Padova in the same city.
I hope you will enjoy the variety of the recorded pieces, many of them are live concert recordings; some others on my Hauptwerk organ console.
👉 From Bach to romantic organ literature, from baroque to contemporary organ repertoire, there's of course space for the art of organ improvisation in different styles.
Please subscribe to the channel so you will always be updated on new releases! 👍

    It's not so much how anyone can master playing this, it's ...how in the hell did Bach ever write such music?!?

    Because Bach walked with God and God gave Bach this music for his devotion to God and music as a form of glorifying the Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ His Son. This music is a gift from God and the proof is in Bachs manuscripts which he dedicated to God and the Lord Jesus Christ

    Modern day humans don't have the same commitment that our forefathers had, whether in the arts or in our walk with God. But the earth is old, and the fruit of the womb weakens as the womb weakens as it is written in 2 Esdras

    Sorry im new into all this WHY IS THE ORGAN MOVING ON ITS OWN

  • @yimingguo
    @yimingguo2 жыл бұрын

    It’s called a coupler. When the organist pulls out specific stops or presses a certain switch, the sound of another manual (name for a keyboard on the organ) can also be played by another manual. In this case, the upper manual is coupled to the pedalboard, which means that whatever the organist plays with his feet, it will also play on the upper manual.
