  I will have to comment that these filipino djays were very privileged & lucky, there were plenty more fluent pinoys that can speak better english than them that just didnt have the connections like they have.

  Ang first foreign cadet was from Thailand in 1960, Sawampungka. Solomon from the US in 1963. Geyer in 1964 from the US.

  i remember DJ DUMDUM, THE COUNT AND SEAHORSE. and also yung random countdown, pati yung contest na pinahulaan ang singer ng "SIGURO AY IKAW NA NGA" i was one of the hopefuls na makahula unfortunately di ako makapasok sa line. anyways mali din naman hula ko... si WILLIE NEP pala ang singer nun akalain mo.

  We had to shelve our weekly sessions because past the health lockdowns, everybody seems to be going out more often already. You can listen to us every third Monday of each month as George and I are regular co-hosts on Teddy's radio show "O.K.S.". 4 to 5pm on DWBL-AM 1242Khz.

  Yap. Same callsign and frequency but not the same format through the years. There are various eras and we are happy to represent the first few here (from its beginnings in the 70s thru most of the "all-hit"/"best of the currents"/"the giant"days in the 80s to campus radio in the early to mid 90s.)
