Video doesn't even talk about the title at all... it doesn't talk about if the camera is any good. It shows how to install it. Using a power drill.... that could break the camera. I know he has already commented that next time he will use the proper tool. Why not just delete the video so that people don't break their camera? I would care more about people breaking their camera then losing my views
Cool review. I'm mildly annoyed that the mount works only on a vertical surface. I want the cam on my horizontal deck rail. At least for indoors i suppose the mount is optional

Don't use a drill. Use a Phillips screwdriver. It only takes two seconds, and you'll be able to feel the moment the plastic is just about to break.

Have 10 cameras, 2 lightbulbs y 4 connectors. Only able to have 4 cameras working. The 4 cameras have SD card but only 2 record? Just trash.

I typically just go hand tight plus a little with a leatherman. I have 26 wyze also on this unit you’re gonna want to mount it upside down to be able to tilt straight down and see below.

I wonder which way is better? This way with the camera on top (how much low visibility it’s there the closer you get to the camera?) or the other way upside down (how much visibility would you have the closer you come above the camera?) I have one with the camera on the bottom and up against a wall like this. It’s a lil higher up so I don’t need to see anything above that height, but need to see things below it lol. But my other one is mounted in a “hanging” style and about 3-4 feet away from the wall (backyard installed to the underside of our patio roof/ceiling) so I can literally see everything around it 360 degree visibility. That’s the selling point for me at least, it being able to not only look side to side but UP and DOWN lol. Gotta make the most out of it imo.

Never install while its powering up. If it tries to turn and you preven it from doj g so you will strip the geads and ruin your camera. This is a video on how to not do this..... and you used a drill? 😮

You can actually mount it in whatever orientation you prefer.
It should be upside down, unless you were trying to look at the ceiling and maybe that's important it's good to have it up high be able to look down. It wouldn't even be considered upside down because it's the right way so you have it upside down and also you should have use a screwdriver screwdriver sorry I don't know why everyone's hating on you but I had to pile on
When the camera is mounted above the control box like it is here, you can only look down about 33 degrees from level before the box obstructs the view… When setup with the camera in the bottom orientation, this camera can sweep a full 180 degrees, following objects that go completely underneath it- and you have an unobstructed view. This camera-on-top orientation makes sense if you’re wanting an unobstructed view of the sky, or you want to monitor your ceiling without any obstructions… if you’re mounting these ABOVE what they’ll be surveilling, having the camera on the bottom is more advantageous.

@rodola647, thank you for your comment. The Wyze pan V3 can record continuously even without wifi. However, please note that all Wyze products only work on a 2.4GHz wifi network. Mobile data and 5GHz networks will not work. You can review all footage on a computer by removing the micro SD card from the camera. If you're looking for a wifi-free outdoor camera, the Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 is a great option. It's battery-powered and has a "travel mode" that records locally to a micro SD card when there's no internet connection or base station. hope this helps and thanks again for reaching out!

Almost snapped that mount with the drill. Next time turn the plastic chuck down to 2 or 3 and make sure the screw switch is toggled. It won’t twist your wrist off that way

I have over 30 and it’s fine 😂 they are very durable.
They're not that durable, I have a a few in my crawlspace monitoring moisture issue and one has failed along with driveway cam. Upgraded the driveway to the V3 pro and upgraded crawlspace to OGs

The range might be reduced if there are walls or obstacles in the way. However, in an open area with a clear line of sight, it can transmit signals up to 300 feet. I would suggest placing the camera near the router to get the best results and minimizing any obstructions that could interfere with the signal.
