    He is supposed to be professional and try to fix anything that might challenge the reputation of his business instead of validating the negativity with a bad attitude. I love his products but if he knows that was not the right quality with his products, he should have said"I am sorry that must have been a manufacturing issue, let me send you some nails that are proper quality." Not called her a,"rachet girl" she didn't deserve that. She paid money and got substandard merch. Not the right way to handle and rep his quality business and management.

    I like the product but i did have a difficult time getting the polish off. I didn’t know about the strong being so difficult to get off. The polish lasted several weeks. I only wanted the polish off because it grew out. Plus i wanted a new color. Will try again when I get the courage. I don’t want acetone used on my nails as much as possible. Thanks for your review.

    I do have one that I filmed a few years back about the 123 Go system, but I can always do an updated one! My favorite way to adhere them is with either a hybrid gel or acrylic, but I've also been using Young Nails Keratin Fiber Gel with great results! kzread.info/dash/bejne/ooqjyKmims_NdLg.html

    Yes I agree with the shipping and then handling 🤦🏾‍♀️I also got a little bad experience. I got a kit, the core one and they sent me a brush that doesn't even look like the ones they sell smh then if u try to call them, good luck with that. Bad customer service. I feel like I spent money for not everything because of the brush.

    I'm so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience! Since this video, I've had nothing but good experiences with Young Nails...but I personally don't love their acrylic brushes, especially the one that comes with the kit. If you're in the market for a good brush, my favorite lately has been Kiara Sky!

    Hi, I bought the lamp about 2 months ago. I use it for my own personal nails. I dont use it everyday. I left it plugged in but off when not in use. Is that bad? Are you supposed to unplug it every day when it has a full charge? My battery died an hour ago and I cant tell if its recharging. I am afraid by leaving it plugged in too much that I killed the battery Do you know how long it takes to charge when battery dies? I loved your review and am a new subscriber. I just didn't know who else to ask and I have never used a rechargeable lamp before.

  • @mckenziecolette4438
    @mckenziecolette44382 жыл бұрын

    Hi Colleen! As a rule of thumb with any technology (from my understanding, at least), it's not the best for the batteries to have them plugged in all the time. I try my best to catch when my electronics are fully charged, and unplug them. I think the battery usually charges in about an hour - you can tell because the little battery icon in the bottom right of the LCD display will have bars that move up and down. It's finished charging when all three bars are present and not blinking. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!

    It can be tough to get out! The battery that came with my light is very snug - I honestly have to shake my lamp to get it loose! 🤣 I also have the rechargeable battery station and a spare to swap it out while the other one is charging, and the second battery I bought is nowhere near as difficult to remove. I wish I could be of more help!

    I recently got into nails and discovered the different types of product that are out there. For example poly gel, hard gel, acrylic and one thing I am confused about is people mention that slow setting monomer is ideal for beginners because it helps you practicevliquid to powder ratio but at the same time it seems as if you have to modify how much liquid you use so that the bead doesn’t turn yellow or run off. howWould that help you in the en with working regular acrylic I might be misunderstanding if you could please comment to help me understand I would greatly appreciate it by the way good job with this video you did great!

  • @mckenziecolette4438
    @mckenziecolette44382 жыл бұрын

    Hi Adriana! I'm sorry for the incredibly late response! I definitely see where there can be some confusion in regards to how a slow-curing monomer is beginner-friendly if you have to alter the liquid-to-powder ratio anyway. I find that the advantage falls in the cure time - you have more time to recognize what the bead should feel like, and you have more time to build the nail itself, all while using less product. At the end of the day, every product is going to have it's own learning curve, even if it's the same product from two different brands. Slow-setting monomer is more beneficial to those who have never touched acrylic before, so they can understand the basics of the medium while limiting some of the time restraint. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

    Hi! Sorry for the super late response! I have found that you can use tips interchangeably with another brand's gel, but I usually stick to one company's base products! (For example, I use the 123 Go tips with Young Nails Protein Bond and Keratin Fiber Gel to adhere them, and it works very well for me!)

  • @mckenziecolette4438
    @mckenziecolette44382 жыл бұрын

    Nope, I just went about my daily life! Since the edges were capped with each layer, it protected them from coming off in places like the shower or when watching dishes. Given, they were on acrylic, so that might have helped them stay on longer. On natural nails, it will depend on your personal nail chemistry! 😊

    Can you use the water base and top coat with other brands of gel nail polish? I'm trying to decide what at home gel nail products to purchase.

  • @mckenziecolette4438
    @mckenziecolette44383 жыл бұрын

    I have never tried the water base with any other products, but I have seen a few KZreadrs who have done so and it worked well for them. Just remember that if you mix brands, you are risking service breakdown, and it would be difficult for the company to help you, since they often don’t these their products with those from other companies. I have recommended KoKo and Claire to many people for at-home gel nails! I love everything about their company, and their gel polish is wonderful to work with (and trust me, I’ve tried LOTS!).

    They do wrap the monomer so well. I’ve never had anything from there leak. Maybe once? A small acrylic container but I doubt it. I for sure can’t remember and I’ve had tons of order from them for a few years now. I’ve had acrylic spill from other containers and it made a huge mess but won’t say what companies. That’s another story lol but it’s not a big deal. It happens. Yet people on KZread flip their 💩 if something isn’t 100% done correctly lol. I like the Goldilocks bit. I have a couple. I wanted to get the KS efile and lamp because of hype. Because of how cute it is. Because of the packaging. I have seen a couple of reviews that their efile didn’t work out well and stopped working soon after. A couple of others said there is a gap where the e file bits go and dust gets in and THATS why KS sells this thing that you put there to block the dust from getting in. Idk if any of this is true or not. But I didn’t get either of those items because I have the Kupa efile in the phantom flat black. I have a portable led lamp form Amazon and it’s in flat black. So they match my aesthetic but I do love me some cute pink girly items lol. I don’t work as a tech so me getting the KS stuff would just be for fun and idk. Maybe lol it would be a waste 😂

    I’m so JELLY from your huge CJS collection 0.0 how long have you had your stamping polish for? I have been wanting to know how long they’re good for. I was thinking of using my stamping plates and polish again that I’ve kept in proper storage for the last 2 years and I wonder if my polish will be any good or if the quality diminishes over time :/ I love that Susie plate too! Been wanting to get it but idk if the upkeep is difficult on all the lace patterns. Some of plates aren’t cleaning well. It’s all from CJS. Do you ever have issues with cleaning some of the designs? I have it with really tiny designs for example like a rose outline.

  • @mckenziecolette4438
    @mckenziecolette44383 жыл бұрын

    Hi there! I’ve been reading all of your comments, thanks for interacting with my videos! I’ve had some of my CjS stamping polishes for over a year, and they still work very well! Since stamping polish is thicker by nature, it keeps a little longer than traditional nail polish. And in regards to cleaning, I use 100% pure acetone and cotton pads to clean my stamping plates, and it works really well!

    what speed should you use around the cuticle? and what speed to take down bulk?

  • @mckenziecolette4438
    @mckenziecolette44383 жыл бұрын

    Around the cuticle I use anywhere from 8-10,000 RPMs, and that’s usually dependent on what the material is that I’m filing (I’ll use a higher speed for acrylic, less for gel). I use those speeds when I’m finish filing after application on the whole nail. To take down bulk, I use a very coarse bit between 13-15,000 RPMs (usually 15, though) to remove product, such as when I am doing an acrylic redesign or to get gel polish off quickly.

    But it will wear differently on natural nails

  • @mckenziecolette4438
    @mckenziecolette44383 жыл бұрын

    Absolutely, it will. I’ve worn it on my natural nails (which are very thin by nature) and they’ve lasted a few days with no chipping. I’ve also had people who could get a week’s wear out of it. It’s just like any nail products, it is very dependent on people’s individual body chemistry.

    Hi! It’s cordless in the sense that it doesn’t need to be plugged in to operate. It has a cord between the hand piece and the base unit, which most e-files do. Rechargeable might be the better way to describe it.

    Certain e-files have different noise levels - That doesn’t necessarily mean that they are bad! There isn’t really anything you can do about it, it’s all in how it was made. My first two e-files were on the cheaper side and were kind of noisy. I’ve also found that portable e-files seem to be a little quieter than desktop e-files. I hope this helps!

    Omg THANK YOU!! I started my nail journey in January & have been intimidated by acrylic/monomer as I’m so TypeA that I like the time I have while working with gels…so when I finally couldn’t take it & needed to try some acrylic products I bought THIS monomer-my first bottle had moth floating in sealed bottle<I mean I’m sure it happens-but what are the odds?! 😆 > then I was having nothing but issues, I couldn’t get a Pearl to save my soul-when I would it felt like it never cured-didn’t realize was just a side effect-I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong, bc if first bottle I started to wonder if it was the product…I watched her video I reached out to her- 🦗 🤦🏽‍♀️ I am gonna try again-would love to know what REGULAR mma free monomer you recommend - Amazon purchase if possible-thanks in advance - and know that this really helped ME! It’s a good thing that you reached out to Suzie about the moth floating in your monomer - she’s great about customer service, so I’m sure that it’ll be resolved. As for a regular-setting monomer (of course MMA-free), my favorite is Young Nails. I believe that you can get it on Amazon, but it’s actually cheaper if you buy it from Young Nails directly.
