  I am taking this exact flight in November 2024, IAD to HND. I managed to get a business class upgrade from premium economy for only an extra $750, this is my first business class and I've always wanted to try it. I am going to switch to the right side of the plane for the view of Mt Fuji, last time I took this flight I was delayed 4 hours so it was already night time when I arrived in Tokyo, excited to see it in the day time. Thank you for the video.

  For only an extra $750 is great! Although the cabin is not the new "The Room", it's still great service and food aboard the plane. And yes the right side has the view of Mt. Fuji if landing in Haneda!

  They are outdated and uncomfortable. I didn't enjoy my lie flat bed and could barely sleep the entire 21 hour flight from KL to Mexico City

  Did you fly from KL to Japan then to MEX? It could also be the added bed topper that they give you. It's still better than Delta's One new biz class which doesn't have cushion

  This flight is the 5th freedom flight and will eventually end or start in Singapore. It's basically the middle point and that was the ticket I got. Hope that helps!

  I appreciate this video! I'm moving from Guatemala to Korea this summer (including a visit with family in the U.S. in between) and just booked a Delta One Suite. It was pricey, but with almost 14 hours I think it will be worth it. I will have my cat with me, too, so I hope there's enough room for him in his carrier, as well. Thanks for the tour!

  @@nicholasyiu1 Thanks, but unfortunately I had to cancel! When I booked it, one customer representative told me pets were allowed, but then the next day I got a voicemail saying that pets are NOT allowed in Delta One. Two different people telling me two different things. But I'm sure someday when I'm not flying with him I'll try it!

  I do agree the seats may appear outdated, and most definitely are compared to the new "The Room" seats. But the quality and comfort still greatly exceeds the Airlines of the US!

  Thank you so much for the awesome review. Just booked the Delta A350 to France. Do you think there is a difference between this airplane versus the 777 and other airplanes from before? I hear that it is quieter and the pressurization is much more comfortable, but I am not sure if that is really noticeable or not.

  There is a difference! 787 are known to be best with the quietness and pressurization. They also need a retrofitted version of the new cabin otherwise it's the old one which isn't as nice.

  Thanks for the protip about which side to sit on. I usually book on the left side of airplanes, no reason, just do. But next time I fly to Japan, I’ll keep this in mind.
