Hi Ben thanks for taking your time to teach us how to use bpc 157. I need a little advice. I'm 7 weeks post op from a pattelar tendon complete rupture. Where do I inject, in the tendon it's self or near it? Your feed back would be very much appreciated. Cheers Ben 🤜🤛

I believe Cayenne Pepper capsules work internally, too. I've been using it that way, and the tendonitis I've been suffering from has been clearing up...kills my appetite, too.

Personally I avoid the de loading as I find that the reduced stress from training is counter productive. The cognitive dissonance point is critical. I’ve found that the “shittiest” workouts I’ve had weren’t shitty at all in terms of numbers (hitting a PR weight for 3 instead of the planned 5, not feeling the intensity like usual), but as Ben stated, they “felt” shitty because I had set my expectations for the session too high. I’ve never met a bad session that wasn’t fixed by extra / better sleep / rest, a little (not a binge) more food, and back at it again in 48-72 hours. But even after many years it’s still challenging in the moment when you know you’re having a bad session.

I have that issue with seated leg curls: I cannot, for the life of me, "feel" them in my hamstrings. So I go for lying or standing variations, if those are available to me. I've tried doing all the tweaks people have suggested and seated leg curls just doesn't seem to "hit" my hamstrings 🤷‍♂️

Not sure what the states is but in Canada 200mg is the MAXIMUM dose that can legally be prescribed for trt. I speak as someone on trt and aswel as having had a conversation with a pharmacist. Im not saying it hasnt happened beyond that before but theyre mot supposed to exceed 200.

3500 calories per meal or per day? 3500 per meals means you’re taking in like 10-12k per day and you’d be obese. No human alive regularly consumes or even has the ability to consume 10k calories per day.

Glad to see you’re back at it Ben! And thank you for mentioning the piece about “mental injury”; I agree that this is all too often overlooked in sports. I had a very close friend who was an ultra runner, and he was slated to represent all of Canada in a global competition in Croatia a few years back. He had set local records with his runs, was able to do upwards of 200+ Km (whatever that is in miles) and was at peak physical condition. Then, in an unfortunate turn of events, he got a stress fracture in his shin and his mental health spiralled downward quickly. Months later, he took his own life and a wave of devastation followed. And he himself was a health professional outside of his running career-someone whose life was dedicated to healing others. And while there was likely other undiagnosed stuff going on there, the point you make still stands: we need to cultivate a better space for anyone-elite or otherwise-to be able to speak up about what’s going on inside. Thank you for shining light on this and best of luck in your bodybuilding career going forward!
