  Lol, I couldn't find this tool for 4 years and that's why I paid for Photoshop 😅Google wouldn't find any results on how to use free transform in Gimp for years until I finally Googled it in 2024 and found your video 😍

  In my defense though, the Transform tool in Gimp looks like a Text tool in Photoshop and it managed to keep me away from the software for years and years 🙃

  Thanks. This helps. But I will never understand why it is so easy to accidentally un-dock the toolbox, but than you can't put it back by just dragging it, or clicking a simple button in it's title bar or something.

  i'm looking for an easy way to expand (opposite of crop) the layer if bigger image is pasted. This only resizes layer to a smaller size, not a bigger size. EDIT: Image > Fit Canvas to the layer

  dont know why they are called patterns when they are really just preset images. You can't really create your own patterns with this so whats the point of calling it a pattern?

  I could not understand most of what you said because your accent was so strong and you spoke to fast for me to work out what you meant. That coupled with the fact that the image showing where your pointer was on the screen was so small and blurred it was impossible to follow what you were doing. You really need to add subtitles to this demo.

  This is a great tutorial, but how do I edit out extra digits (fingers and toes) in an A.I generated photo using GIMP?

  That can be a little trickier because of the placement of the fingers looking unnatural - even if removing one. You may need to replace the whole hand, or move the fingers to look more natural. Hopefully AI will learn to fix this common issue soon!

  Your explanation is too fast to follow and for advances user, which may using this tool for a long time. You need to asume that if someone is looking for a video to just remove an image using GIMP, it is because we are NOT familiar with the tool. Even looking 25 times your video, I could not follow you.

  Way more complicated than it needs to be. Why is it not possible to select a single pixel color and replace it in the entire image with a simple 2 click process. Gimp is garbage.
