I am Tracey Campbell, an artist, creator and designer. I called my channel Art Fiber Stitch, so that it covers most of what I do. Art can be painting, mixed media, photography, mosaics, sculpture etc. Fiber covers my textile artwork and needle felting, eco printing and making things with fabulous yarns. Stitch covers sewing and embroidery, slow stitching, and other needle arts. I have had trouble compartmentalizing myself in the past, so I shall not try. What I believe is that we can all find the artist within ourselves which allows us to put the art into whichever craft we wish, it just takes knowing a few skills. My instructional videos aim to inspire you to try something new. Mindfulness is being present in the moment, being absorbed in a creative endeavour certainly allows that. The main thing is that you have a go, don't judge yourself harshly, revel in mistakes, they inspire creativity, lose yourself in a creative pursuit, it is good for the soul. Find the artist within!

Thank you for sharing so many of your innovative techniques with us!!
Beautiful 👍🧡💐
Did I already told you? Your's is the only youtube channel where I press "like." BEFORE I even listen to/watch it because I absolutely know it will be a happy moment being inspired by beautiful art.
I am inspired! Hey, I read what you wrote to introduce your channel. I thought it was all great, especially the bit about mindfulness. I’m usually mindful except lately I’m kinda looking at my past. As long as I don’t wallow there, I think I can learn something about myself. Maybe we call it spelunking. I think, if I recall my RN education correctly, my task at this age is to review my life and find it good (generatively v stagnation). Anyway, your amulets are FABULOUS. I’m going to make one. And wouldn’t they make a nice advent calendar? Put a small surprise in each amulet. I like that idea. Thanks! 💜💜💜
These are lovely ❤😊
Glad you like them!

These are delightful. Thank you. Do you ever glue the felt to the jar so that it doesn't slip off?
Another great idea! Plenty of ways to make it happen.

Thanks so much 😊
Love this ❤ What is your background fabric? Please
Hi Vicki it is coloured burlap or hessian.
Adoro os seus trabalhos lindíssimos .É pena não ter as legendas em português. Obrigado.
oh no, that is a pity. I hope you enjoy anyway.
Looks great. I love the beautiful colours (-: Marion 🎉
Thank you Marion, Cheers!
I love the soft colours in this piece. It’s so atmospheric ! Thank you 😊
Glad you like it Chrissie
such a fun craft a long!!! no scrap unloved!!
yes! no scraps too small!
I just unwrapped a tea & rust dyed piece of linen today. When I use only rusty bits I get a gold/brown/orange fabric, but the addition of black tea created a grayish/blue/brown fabric. Not what I was expecting, but I like it.
Isn’t it always a wonderful surprise Marei 😀
I love a creative experiment, Beautiful ❤
Thank you! Cheers Donna. I am already thinking of projects for it.
Have you read the book by India Flint? She does natural dying and stitching.
No Jessica I haven’t. I just love playing around with it. Too many crafts too little time. Sigh … 😞
@@artfiberstitch She's an artist from South Australia. I took a weekend class with her quite a while ago. The retreat was for fibre art.
Great results Tracey, I love doing this and get the best results with Alum. I am currently stashing away onion skins. Given the Wattle I was wondering if you are in Australia?
Yes Jane. when the Wattle comes out it is just stunning, and I just have to play with it. I also have a collection of onion skins 🤔
I love it. Beautiful results👍🧡👏💐
Thank you Anita 😊
Beautiful! ❤

Thank you 🙏
Beautiful! Very inspiring.I am finding needlefelting very therapeutic...x
Wonderful! It really is!
I love how you say "I'll just do a bit of this and see what happens, just to show others what we can see" - that describes your process perfectly to me. I love this piece - and wouldn't we all love to rummage through your "scraps"! I was one of those who saw an underwater seascape in #1, but you have changed what I see now into a beautiful landscape - thank you for sharing your process.
That is lovely thank you. No scrap too small is my motto! 🤣
I watched this on the tv screen and it does look like a painting, quite impressionistic. Love it! 😍😊
Thank you so much 😀
Hi, Tracey! I can't remember if I've ever comment on one of your videos but I'd like to say I love your style and techniques! Thank you for sharing your beautiful art with everyone.
Oh thank you Stephanie, I so appreciate your comment!
I'm looking forward to seeing part two! This is really a beautiful, little scene.
Glad you enjoyed it! Part 2 is up.

Hi Cindy. Thank you. part 2 makes it into a landscape !
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Hola 👋, vamos haber si soy capaz de hacer algo parecido 😊❤
Great Inma have fun!
I love this, and I really enjoy hearing your design process taking shape. I see a wonderful underwater seascape, but I am also wanting to see a landscape develop, inspired by the atmospheric trees suggesting themselves on the horizon. Can't wait for part2!
Lots of people seeing that underwater scene. I will certainly be trying to do that, but this one was a landscape.🙂
What is the white material that you use for your base ?
Hi Jackie, it’s called Calico here in Australia. But also unbleached cotton.
Beautiful!!!! I’m a crocheter so I have yarn to play with !! ❤
Excellent!
Beautiful 💙💚
Hi Jackie you seem to be watching a few videos, I hope you feel inspired! 😊

Thanks Kathy, any day now for part 2.
