Any hip hop is primarily a text. Without understanding the meaning, you simply cannot appreciate these things. In this case, it's just a rather ironic mockery of hip-hop. I'm Russian and I understand the lyrics.

There’s some harsh prisoner/gopnik slang which is hard to translate as I would need to explain the whole gopnik subculture. All this is mixed with a Nordic black metal satanic culture and I find it awesome as it’s something really unique, but at the same time, I think it will never be fully understood by foreigners due to slang and a subculture that they’re not familiar with in real life. It’s basically impossible to translate it correctly simply because many of those words don’t exist in other languages.

Ghost division was a nick name for 7th panzer division of German Army led by Erwin Rommerl. The division was so quick in advance and reposition, even the German command wasn't sure where they are by the time. They fully embodied the Blitzkrieg by not only by a word by also by their deeds.

The yelling in the chorus was him saying "RUN!!!!" to the little girl. I thought it had an extreme amount of "weight" to it. I love this song and it's extremely emotional since this type of thing happens in the U.S. all the time.

This song is about the Italian invasion of Greece during WWII, in October 1940. Against all odds, not only the Greek army managed to hold its positions, but they also made Italians fled, thus advancing deeper into Albania. Then, Hitler send German armies as reinforcements, leading to the ultimate surrender of Greece in April 1941.

Glad you discovered them. One of the greatest metal bands ever. They don't sound like anyone, more like others copy them. Maybe most influential and best, for me at least, melodeath band ever with amazing live performances. Saw them live twice. 2009 is still greatest concert i've ever been too. 2011 was a miss because Anders could barely scream at that point and new album was meh. Definitely check other tracks too. They have been going at it for almost 30 years or so and for me their last amazing album was in 2006 where Take this Life is from. Their riffs were on another level with fantastic lyrics back in the day. Here are some other bangers although there are too many: My Sweet Shadow December Flower Jester's Race Clad in Shadows (I prefer '99 version to the original) Vacuum Colony Clayman Pinball Map Only for the Weak Worlds within the Margin ....
