Me casually looking how expensive flights to Canada are to get a fitting with Brandon 😬
I can’t find your DTC only video yet? Have you made it? Nice video btw I subscribed
Thanks for the sub Luke! I have not made it yet. I'm still waiting on some of these companies to send out their irons. Hopefully I'll get it soon. 🍻
a nice interaction between son and father
i loved this review because it pertains 100% to me, a non (and far from it) scratch golfer.
Pretty sure I bought your 2 hybrid on whatnot lol
“No such thing as a straight shot” yaaaa might want to stop listening to that coach.
It is nearly impossible to hit a perfectly straight shot. Club path, club face, club to path, spin axis and side spin all to be 0.. Every shot you hit is going to have some side spin to it. Unless you're a robot....
Airlines don’t allow more than 50 pounds in the golf bag.
A few questions. How would build quality be a 10/10? Why knock off a point? Second, the ball pocket. You opened and closed it several times, but each time seemed to use both hands. Can you easily open and close it one handed?
Love the driver reviews…. Think about doing LTDx vs Aerojet vs Darkspeed?
Nice video! I love your dad's reaction to the "how does that feel?" with the Mizunos. "Very sweet". I wouldn't expect any other reaction to a Mizuno iron. My only complaint with Mizuno is they aren't very lefty friendly (but getting better) in terms of what models are available. The only question is why did you go the Mizuno HMHL model with a 31 degree lost as opposed to the regular Hot Metals. The shorter yardage on the HLs is more than likely due to the greater loft.
Thanks! Ya the mizunos were great. My intention was to get him something that went higher, landed softer but also went farther. You can see even tho the Mizuno's were a higher loft, the spin and landing angle were very similar to the other clubs with lower lofts. Loft is only one part of the equation. The Mizuno, Srixons and TM were very close. The deciding factor was that he liked the TM more.
Id 18 is a "high" handicap what would it be if that guy beat you by 10 strokes? So someone is a 30-32 handicap?
High handicap..... Or at that point, you would just say your handicap number. It's a description word. No official classification.
@@NewNineGolf I think its officially classified as "you suck". I have never broke 100. I suck at golf!
Haha don't be too hard on yourself, you'll get there. It's a tough game. 🍻
Calgary bro!
You are tempting me to get these. I just found out about Vice irons today. German made just like me. 😂 These would be a huge upgrade from my 7PMC set.
I have the sm9s them I have the 46 f grind 50 f grind 54 s grind and 58 s grind
Very cool video!
I will never use anything bryson has, so the other people on the golf course don't make fun of me
I think the 1s look stunning tbf. Vice looks great gear and VFM. Those 2s would be great buys for a lot of people looking outside of the big 5. Ping, callaway, Titleist, Taylor made and Mizuno.
The club didnt let you down. YOU let you down
Cut into a taylormade stealth and you know what it had no special bridge insert, 70% plastic, people are getting ripped off, most driver's that pros use are definitely not from the store, so watch out, my taylormade M2 2016 goes just as far and as forgiving as the stealth, buyer beware save your money and stick with what you have, the only difference it the face of most new so called top of the range driver's, to be honest most of these videos are just the users opinions, (this driver compared to that driver reviews are just personal preference) 2016 compared to 2024 not much has changed in shape and feel. Sorry to be slightly negative but player A preference might be cobra and player B preference titlist and so on, so opinions are very different and when people don't get to try 100 drivers, how do us normal golfers get to try numerous brands, so reviews are so controversial and somewhat not reality to the average golfer. I know someone who worked in a certain brand and the materials for the completed head what £40 shocking
Cherish your father. Lost mine at 72 just when we really started connecting again.
Both drivers are good. Loft is more for spin control. If you have kinks in your swing that day, the you see an issue with dispersion.
Has your Dad tried the new clubs yet? Does he like them?
Yep he has 4-5 rounds on the. Really enjoys them but he still hast white figured out his distance
When you watch a reviewer above your average I switch off . I’m a good ball striker but 10 mph less , closer to average golf speed
Shafts can make or break the feel. Also grips and grip size makes a huge difference..Its not just the head..
Throw a 13.5 BRNR mini in that empty spot!!! My favorite club in the bag and only 20 yards shorter than driver. So easy to hit
That spin rate was so much lower on that cobra. May be able to hit it 190 but if you can’t hold a green with a 7 iron then it’s useless
Bro I just get new irons and I see this... maaaaaannnn... would love to try them
What did you get?
@NewNineGolf I got a fitted set of Cleveland Launcher XL (Not the hybrids) since they are last seasons release, I got a great deal on them. Cant wait to get them in once thwy are done. Would still love to try a vice set though just to try it
Did you happen to try the Ventus Blue for your driver when you were fitted? Just curious since you like the feel of the Modus 120s with the softer mid section. I actually took my 7 iron to my last driver fitting just so I could find a driver shaft that naturally “fits” in the bag. I’ve found crushing drivers in a fitting session tends to create unique swing that isn’t repeatable in course conditions, especially when you’re going between clubs with every shot.
I did hit the blue and found I still had better results with the Ventus Black
Hate to see the old irons go they were beauty’s!
Just wasn’t fit for them. My dispersion is so much better with these.
His first few hits are way better than a normal 18 handicap player. I want someone who hits drives around 200 yards and 80 MPH swings. Not high 90s
Very nice
Great bag. Why didn’t you go with the titliest driver
I used the TSR3 for a while and actually loved it! Getting all this gear can be a little overwhelming. One of my buddies needed a driver so I gave him that one.
Very nice
It ain’t the shaft. Low loft will make it go wild.
You are the biggest golf gears lover😂
Great video! Maybe add shot tracer....
Something happened with my render since it was up I didn’t bother re-uploading. Next one will have a bunch!
Are you still doing the monthly subscription club??
Yes just finishing filming the rest of the lesson content. Will re-launch very soon
cobra iron should've been a different vid.
It will
@@NewNineGolf please have done by Friday. thx.
Titleist (USA) only offers three finishes on their wedges. Pro chrome, black and nickel. This doesn't look like any of them. Can you find out what it is please?... it appears that Titleist used to have your finish (Brushed Steel) but replaced it with a darker grey flat nickel. Obviously to save money so you got lucky with those finishes.
They offer 4 in wedgeworks the 3 u mentioned and a raw finish that rusts all over
@@MrDadbar Brushed Steel is one?
Ya it's the nickel finish. They don't have the brushed steel anymore.
Awesome set, brother! F’n bang up set! Cheers from Texas
Instead of the extra wraps, golf pride has the +4 grips so that there isn't much taper. Might be something to look into.
Question, you went same shafts from wedges to irons. Any difference when you keep it same throughout vs getting stock wedge shafts for wedges?
I just get tighter dispersion when I full swing my wedges and I can control the flight better.
Which launch monitor do you have set up behind you.
Full Swing Kit
What happened with titleist drivers you hit last week with titleist...didn't get one?
I haven’t hit anything recently with Titleist? Waiting to try the new GT lineup
@@NewNineGolf maybe it was you testing new shafts video..lol
I deadass thought the tee that flew to the right was your ball on the first drive
Haha I’d quit golf if that was the case
I like the talk about specs. No one ever talks about shafts, wraps, lie angle, etc. +3 flat on wedges for me and it's a game changer.
I think they call it oil can finish
what grinds are you using on your wedges?
Sorry fellas! 60- 12D 54 - 10S 50 - 12F
@@NewNineGolfno sorry needed, keep up the good work, love the videos
Thank you! 🙏
He’s very upright and lifts up right before he starts his swing. He’s almost like too close to the ball. I think fix those issues and his hands on the grip. His hand placement is what’s causing him to close the face.
Great job, pops!
Zed???? What side of the pond you on , brother? Lol
