  Life long beagle owner. I had only heard the bad stereotype stuff about pitbulls. I had never been around one until my daughter and her fiancee got one. OMG such a sweetheart. The only problem with him is hes near 100 pounds and jumps like a deer, comes running when I walk in and hits me in the air, her beagle goes low at my legs, her female bully waits until they get me down and the face licking begins.

  I’ve owned many breeds and mutts. Pits or pit mixes need companionship. They live for it. If you’re getting a dog to put in the back yard and forget them. Pits are not the breed. If you want a dog to be next to you as much as possible……they are wonderful.
