Channel 37 is an archive featuring local TV nostalgia from the age of Beta and VHS.
The material on Channel 37 is sourced mainly from my own personal tape collection, in addition to various thrift store, garage sale, and flea market finds.
THIS CHANNEL DOES NOT TAKE REQUESTS. Please do not ask me to upload specific items-I have a full-time job and operate Channel 37 as a hobby; as such, I can only dedicate a limited amount of time (and money) to sourcing, editing, researching, and producing content for the channel. Additionally, I can't produce content that I don't have.
While I make an effort to provide the correct dates and other information, I can sometimes get things wrong. If you find an inaccuracy, please feel free to leave a comment on the specific video with the correct information and I will verify and update the description.

1:11 as a kid in Escondido Plaza Bonita always felt like it was far far away and it gave it a sense of mysticism.
Thank you so much for uploading this! I've been living in escondido pretty much my whole life. This would have been on the air between my 2nd and 3rd grade school years. The happiest time of my childhood. Dimension cable was far superior to COX and i missed them terribly after the take over. It's interesting to see all these different Escondido addresses mentioned on these screens.

Can anyone list what were all the shows that were on KRRT Channel 35 (UPN) Cable 7 in San Antonio, Texas's weekdays and weekend schedules from September 1996 to June 1997? I would like to see what they're schedules were like during that time when I was growing up when I lived in Texas off and on manner.
Anyone remember living in southern California in 1982?
Now WIAT since 1/30/1998.
It is The Birmingham Market's oldest UHF Station.Launched on 10/17/1965.
That guy sounds like someone from the band called Huey Lewis and the news because I remember watching the ABC musical bumper over 40 years ago when I was a young boy because those television networks, including this one used to always have musical intros which shows new seasons of older shows plus television series that are now first born on the network because you know why, you know why, because, you love it on ABC, you love it.
That's musician Larry Santos singing to the tune of "I Love L.A."
was more of a suoer 18 fan
I like the early 80's McDonald's commercial with the Arctic Orange Shake and the McDonald's Orange juice coupon too from 1981. 3:30
ABC/Disney have a lot of power.....
I like the early 80's Carl's Jr Pop Quiz commercial that involves a music trivia game that started in 1980. I love this Carl's Jr commercial from 1980. 03:37, but I also love the commercials from Hostess Donuts, Twix, Bob's Big Boy, Casa Maria, and Mama Celeste. 06:13, 06:43, 07:12, 11:45, and 12:15.
I like watching this early 80's Church's Chicken commercial from 1984 because it's so funny. 33:43 and a repeat 47:24.
I like watching the late 80's Taco Bell commercial with the Nacho supreme for 99¢ and the regular tacos for 49¢. This Taco Bell commercial came out in 1989. Their Taco Bell menu used to be pretty cheap, but now it's really expensive. 6:35
i like the mid 80's Cherry Coke commercial from 1985. I love Cherry Coke. 00:15
Is that little boy in the Tylenol commercial, the same kid from the Problem Child movies?
Love these videos but why not cut out the repeats?

"This Is SPORTS CENTER."
I didn't heard of UPN until April of 1995, after I came back to the United States.
Boy, does this bring back memories for this old Cajun expat! Thanks for posting this.
The first commercial for Spic and Span looks like advanced CGI. They had that back then? Wasn't it super expensive? I'm surprised they used it for a cleaning product commercial.
The 80s was the apex and then it all spiraled downhill after that
Back in 1981, I watched Channel 5 as an NBC affiliate when I was living in Memphis, Tenn. Burger King is my favorite burger restaurant.
just watching these old commercials brings back so many memories , looking at the date I had just turned 14 years old , I miss the good ol days
What? No Grand Prospect Hall? or Lenny's clam bar??
It's from episode Lemon Of Troy season 6 of the Simpsons.
So that's much better
This honestly doesn't feel like the precursor to Fuse. That channel had such a different feel compared to this.
I loved that Shasta commercial (the 1st one here). Wow this brings back so many sRm memories. Thank you! ☮️💟 2:08
The Electrolux commercial was shot on the now-demolished Columbia Ranch

This was WGBO after Spectrum Pay TV went out of business. Today, it's now a Univision affiliate. Also, I never got a chance to taste those Idaho Ripple Pringles chips.
Is that Bristol Temple Meads?
2 1/2 weeks before my 22nd birthday.
Anytime I myself look for old tapes, I hope I get the kind of results you and others have gotten (episodes, breaks, etc.).
This was on the same day "Top Gun" was released in theaters.
Oh wow 23:36 the music Derek Austin's Neon Factor
Nowadays we are still turning on The Tube.....but a different one 😂
Wendell Craig was THE voiceover for Nickelodeon in the 80s and 90s. God rest his soul.
Memories
My father, Wilfred Rogers become a SCETV member.
I know Buffy the Vampire Slayer very badly, but I know that it's "Buffy's mom" Kristina Sutherland in the International Coffee commercial at 21:30.
