G'day! We're Pauly & B, an Aussie couple adventuring, surfing, diving, kiting, fishing and photographing our way around the world.
After many years of international travel, we decided it was time to see more of our beautiful home so in May 2022, we set off for a lap around Australia in our Jayco Journey Outback caravan with our pup, Snoop.
Along our journey, we're documenting our adventures, sharing skills with our 'how to' series and handy travel tips we pick up along the road.

Thanks
I appreciate the video but gopro footage from this perspective is frustrating to watch.
Great tips, thanks!❤
Nice pool. I tried once in Switzerland and loved it. But would not go quad lol Nice channel too subscribed now
Hi mate, great video! Can you please break down the pressure process on the back foot during the snap?
I've been recently working on my back hand buttom turn, and when leaning to the lip although trying to turn hips and face to the face, I've found it hard to move and often overrun tbe lip with leaving tbe wave behind me. What would you recommend to do better? :)
when finally got a RIKT it made my turns 100% better
I was listening without watching and was thinking wtf but all good now l check it out Cool tunes
Hi man thanks for the extensive reviews! I have a question for you: Im 5.11, around 66 kg and mainly surf mushy small wves. I would say my level is just a bit below you, but similar. I bought the bobby quad in 5.6 but missing a bit of paddle power and dont want to buy it bigger. Im considering the mashup in 5.7 or 5.8. Do you think the paddle power and increase in the mashup is worth it? Do you think the mashup grovels as well as the bobby quad? Thank in advance!
Dope thanks!!!!
Love the info and the Beard Sparkle! Cheers!
Where abouts was this footage from mainly?
What kind of traction pad do you have on that board? Is that one of the FireWire Traction pads?
Looks like a FW lowrider
Sick review. Sold me. I’m going to be surfing urban Sydney a bit and the northern beaches so this board will be mad for the quiver. Have you found a better board for urban surf yet?
Congratulations on the video, my name is Rodrigo, I speak from Brazil. What is your weight and size? I'm not sure what size I should buy my Fishbeard
Awesome. Thought I saw your rig in Harvey yesterday.
Very good video..which is the part of the front leg when rotating through the upper body? Must rotate the leg with strength or does the leg follow the rotation of the body?
10th time for that shoulder ?
Not bad, not behd! Good edits as always,,. Might give p some media training soon though
Cheers Ari!
Was that a whale breaching during surf part?
It sure was 🐋
You channel is being spammed on instagram

Cheers Rick! Ouch! That’s brutal, especially on holiday. Hope she’s all healed up!

i just found you mate.... you're really good at explaining all this so it makes sense, appreciated thankyou
Thanks for watching! More tutorials to come in the not too distant future
I can do awesome backhand bottom turns but absolutely suck at forehand, I can never rotate the board enough or I bog a rail
I usually surf small waves, mostly point breaks in SoCal, I have a 6'2" Mashup by Firewire, it's 44 Liters Epoxy, and I'm an advanced Beginner I'd say, surfing on and off for about 2 years now. Living an hr from the ocean makes things more difficult to stay consistent at times, but I do feel the board bogs since it's got a pretty flat rocker, harder to do pocket surfing, mostly just down the line pumping top to bottom with light carving on occasion. Would you recommend a different board to learn more pocket surfing?
Another good tip, practice with clenched fist for a few strokes then not, helps to train how to use your forearm and positioning, which generates more thrust,.Bit like flippers the tip of the flipper is your hand , forearm is the body of the flipper...And also over the barrel elbows up, get a better entry angle, into the business end of the stroke......
Love this!!!
Great video. Hits all the important points with clear footage for examples. Thanks 🙏🤙🏼🏄🏼♂️
Very helpful thx
Everyone who does good snaps pushes their back foot out and releases the fins ever so slightly. Do you just start doing this eventually
Well explained bro 👏
That deepcut Simpsons reference and the unbelievably helpful nature of this tutorial is more than enough to get +1 subscriber for you, brother! Thank you!
Great tutorial, and fantastic dry land practice. Way more useful than most other tutorials. Please keep your "how tos" coming.
What's the meaning of the drawn out turns please ?
That tip of trying to put your hand deeper/farest into the water for a vertical frontside top turn is fucking Gold! Cheers Bud!
Wow!!!!! This must be the most amazing and clean surfboard and fins review I've ever seen. Absolutely flawless brother. Great job! SUBSCRIBED! 💯🙌🏼🤙🏼😌
Good vid. Well done.
Amazing tutorial and tips, thanks for sharing! Can you make one about cutbacks? Best!
When you recommended a 6’2 board at 32 liters, is that for your level or intermediate? I’m intermediate and the same exact size as you. (Also 35yrs old). I bought a 6’1 og flyer at 34.3 liters to work on this stuff. Also considering a 6’0 flat earth. Whats your thoughts? Great tutorial btw!
just a question how tall are you and how much do you weigh? good video i need some waves waveless in florida
This videos are amazing brother. Thanks heeps from Panama 🙌
Thanks legend!
it is possible to do a fast bottom turn with a 7'0 foamie?
Absolutely! Jamie Obrien at pipe on a 9 foot foamie is the perfect example of that!
Great video guys shame that fishing rod broke. Maybe you should start a patrion page where we can keep up to date on videos that get released earlier than yt ones..¿
Thanks mate! It’s on our very long list of tasks to complete 😂
Nice work Attembrah, B you pervert lol. Nice pics!

Need a plug kit there maybe fella
Ain’t that the truth 🤦♂️ahah
As i age , and crawl towards death I am constantly trying to compensate for ball swing weight. Perhaps a saggy balls tutorial is in order?? Or is that a bucket of frogs? 😂. Great work. Appreciate it. Be well. Get waves😜
Bahahah just spat me coffee everywhere!
