My son is going into 3 months of his braidlocs journey. I haven’t did anything to it but sprayed it down with water everyday. It’s starting to interlock with his other locs. What and how should I do it? I was going to cut it and use a crochet needle
Hello, take a day to carefully separate the locs that have started to mesh into others using conditioner and warm water. After that wash and retighten the locs to freshen things up. Moving forward retighten his locs every months and avoid having it stay so long without attention or it will likely mesh again. If you can’t do it you can seek a consultation from a professional loctician before making any decisions. Hope this helps 😊
I have never heard of this style of wiping. I'm a size 18 so reaching in the front and wiping from the front to back is the only way I know and only possible for me.🤗
Yes and this video mentions exactly that. Wiping front to back. I understand that body shapes, sizes and mobility impact the mechanism so feel free to continue maneuvering your wiping process as you see fit. Do what allows you to be comfortable as long as it’s front to back 😊

Do you use the glycolic acid wash before the other washes or after
I use it after I use Dr. Bronners unscented pure Castile soap, because it is to fight odors. So, I clean my skin first with the Castile soap then follow up with glycolic acid under my armpits or other folds (under breasts) for odor control😊

Thanks for the tips on your loc journey. I l just started my loc journey one month ago I started with a two strand twist and last week I took the plunge and did my first 2 point rotation on my hair so far so good 😊I have thin fine hair so I have small locs 156 total.

Started my journey yesterday! Today I woke up to shrinkage but I know it’s all apart of the process. Every other hour, I hate them, I love them and the freedom that I am already experiencing is amazing. This is me and it’s sad but at 36, I’m learning to love and embrace myself in a society that does not consider women like me the beauty standard. This is me, this is who I am. I refuse to manipulate my hair to please others anymore. ❤
