New sub. This is a great idea. And cheap! I have a lot of boxes that I get from my inventory/supplies I use to make my handmade soaps and we often end up throwing them out or burning them. Our little spit of yard is really rocky and aside from a tiny patch of soil near my front porch, I've been unable to grow anything on our property all the years we've lived here. I'm getting some raised beds this spring, but I'm going to do this for some potatoes and sweet potatoes I want to grow. Thanks!
