  Amazing video scruffie, I was already frustrated with the 7.B patch and its unfortunate the 8 patch is even less flexible, I'm unsure why they are going to route of making less comps friendly or viable. I have seen 3 gnsr and 3 Kai in every lobby like you've said. Really frustrating that the playable comps are dwindling

  Quite nice video, love the comp too. But getting the spat for this comp is insane, otherwise you need irelia for 7 Storyweavers and this isnt that easy

  Amazing video as always Scruffie! I have noticed I love having morgana as a secondary carry even when i dont get ghostly, she applies a good amount of backline damage that allows for other carries like irelia, hwei, and xayah who attack the backline but usually dont finish em off.

  Great video as always scruffie, in addition to my crazy sage game, I played in a hyper 3x pris from the portal and got max porcelain. Early lissandra, printed alot of loot since I had spoils of war. I also had cybernetic bulk so my team was beefy!

  Great video scruffie! I've been trying my best on PBE last night and this morning but I've been struggling, Portals + encounters + (not sure if PBE boosts Prismatic chance) Prismatic every other game has lead to very hyper matches practically every game. So many items and gold and 5 costs thrown around and so early too. I had an augment my first match "The Road less Traveled" which gives you 2xp per unique sage placed in the middle two rows. Started with the portal wandering trainers which had sage. And pulled a diana from an orb. On 2-1 and then on I was generating 6exp per round. I hit the fastest 10 I have ever done and finished the game with 3 star Morg and wukong (the last two augments were prizzy, one being the duplicate champs you buy 1x per round) Overall, this set is bonkers and hard to play, I just got lucky with bots in my first game I guess.

  I’ve been working 2 much to really get a feel for the set. what I do know is everything on pbe doesn’t mean a thing. all the numbers will change with 20 patches before launch. just familiarize yourself with the units and traits. I will record myself hitting masters and further beyond. I hope I help best of luck

  i am a little confused, why don't you two star almost any champ? even the easy low cost ones. i feel like it makes a difference at least for the ones that are gonna be sacrificing in the frontline lol . that extra health makes a difference without investing items onto them so your playmakers can spam their stuff. But i don't know, i'm no expert, just wondering since i wanna learn.

  @scruflie9993 if you don't hit it can. I run the 5 penta, 3 kda, superfan variant, pushing to 7 penta if I can late game. Been easy top 4s with all the 4-cost focus.

  It's been normal every set that getting fast levels and playing full legendary comps is a strong strategy for lategame. If 1 person plays it, he wins. If 2 people play it, 1 hits his 2* first and the other guy is out 6th, if 3 people play it, they all 3 sit there with 1* and probably beat most other boards as top3. The thing is, you already have to have a good early game to preserve enough HP to later go econ for levels and pivot the board without getting kicked out. So there is still a lot of strategy in this, even when the last couple of fights all feel similar. You can go Punk reroll, which is really strong early and hope to still get enough econ to level to 9. You can play 8-bit and scale your damage into lategame, so you can easily econ without losing too much HP and then switch to only cait/riven/lucian and Kayn, yorik, illaoi etc. frontline. you can play HS for early econ and hit 9 really fast, risking a lot of HP and maybe going 8th. Or you can go for a really strong mid-game comp, like most 3-cost Rerolls and kick out the lategame players before they get their econ going. If you hit any Yone, Riven, Morde, Vex, Samira, etc. 3* on an early lvl7, no one will survive going econ to lvl9. Any portals that add gold to the game (Scuttle puddle, item payout, etc.), or give better augments (Prismatic symphony, can get really strong econ-augments early) will speed up everyones econ so that people hit lvl 9 faster. And anything that slows down the game (Larger Legends, etc.) gives players more time to hit lvl 9. If you want to avoid lvl 9 boards try to prioritize portals that speed up the game without econ. So things like support anvil, tacticians crowns, radiant anvil, will increase the speed of the game by adding more units on the board or more items on the units, causing loses on average to deal more damage. That way players have less time to econ and are less likely to force lvl9. Obviously you still might have someone starting with a 12-fight winning streak who can afford to go to 9, but that also means that everyone else has a lot less HP and can't go to 9, also solving the problem of "everyone playing the same board".

  I think its worth it. Try it when the new set drops and if you don't like it play something else. Come back per patch and see if it fixed any of the issues you've had

  Spats might not be a full blown solution. I do think it gives more of a variety for a max cap board to compete with the best comp per patch. Especially when only one spatula tends to drop per carousel now.

  I'm someone who loves challenging themselves beyond what the game does. In pvp games that often means playing off-meta or niche builds, playstyles, strategies or in TFT: comps. Every TFT set I start playing blindly and gain understanding of what is good and what I like purely by playing without looking at any guides or spoiling myself for new sets. It's very easy to see which comps are the current "meta" after a few days of playing. After the first week or so I usually decide if this is a set I wanna keep playing or if it's not as fun/interesting to me. If I decide to keep playing I will grind to masters on my own terms. Strictly no meta abuse, trying unique comps/synergies and most importantly: having fun experimenting. Sets 9 and 10 so far have been the most extreme ones in the sense that they've been the worst and the best at the same time for my personal "challenge". Currently I'm only playing Double-Ups with friends because I can't stand the master lobbies I am getting right now. My niche/unique ideas usually tend to fall off at high diamond/low masters so I am used to this, but the way the set is right now I don't even wanna try anymore.
