It’s a pretty measuring stick for where Boots stands. If he beats David in a similar fashion as Bud let a lone a more spectacular finish, it will set a standard to where he compares to Bud. Especially since they have a similar style with both being switch hitters. Same way the Shawn Porter win was compared to Bud and Spence.

Everything comes to an end in boxing. Fury really looks over the hill. Crawford is near 37 years old and Canelo near 70 pro fights, so both near retirement. Both great undisputed champions who have nothing left to prove, they have earned a big “payday” fight.
