This song, recorded when it was, and with Frank Steijns on the piano makes me wonder how much Andre Rieu knew about Emma before she won Ministars singing the original version of Voila, I am thinking that Andre was effectively waiting for the right time to meet Emma, and take her under his wings, with the way she was becoming better known, it was only a matter of time and the right moment for him to meet Emma, and Voila just made the decision easier. Having said that, it's very clear that Emma being with Andre is proving to be good for both of them, Emma is blossoming into an even more polished all round performer, and Andre is benefitting from a young vibrant and incredible singer who is rising to every challenge he thows at her, and having watched Andre for close on 15 years I can't remember him giving such a new young performer so many new challenges in the way that he is encouraging Emma to do new or different things, she's clearly completely comfortable singing a capella, and also very capable doing strong counter harmony, as well as strong songs from well known names, I'm really looking forward to seeing and hearing what surprises he has in store for Dublin in May.

Ich habe die Videos von "The Voice Kids" gesehen, dass sie 2021 gewonnen hat. Dieses kleine Mädchen hat (trotz ihrer Krankheit) eine Stimmgewalt wie ich sie selten gehört habe. Vorgetragen mit der Emotion und einer Leichtigkeit, als wäre es das einfachste auf der Welt. Die Töne so klar, die wechselnde Klangfarbe und diese Ausdrucksstärke, einfach genial. Da können manche ältere "Profisänger" noch sehr viel dazu lernen, um so ein Niveau zu erreichen.
Van de 3 uitvoeringen is deze de mooiste. Al klinkt de piano soms wat vreemd. 😊 Vooral het ingetogen stuk is gewelding en dat maakt Emma zo goed. En Emma: vergeet niet aan het eind dat lieve glimlachje... ❤ Dat maakt je ook als mens geweldig!
