Thanks for sharing Avalon, it's been a while, happy to see you are getting better, healthier! So if understand your experience parallel with tarot correctly: - rage and victim mentality = THE EMPRESS REVERSE - going to the gym regularly and ritual every day = THE EMPEROR - big shift of perspective, big Ha, Ah moment (podcast) = THE TOWER - I am surprised you didn't mention it? - Self-love and self-care : THE EMPRESS. can you give us the link to that amazing podcast that change your life ! ? Also, when you pulled your tarot cards during this period, did these cards came up often?
Needed this. The consuming rage and victim energy I completely resonate with, 2021 was the worst year of my life, I have never felt true fear like I did in 2021 and it still affects me till now. Funnily enough I have the Empress card upright by my bed I use for meditation but nothing is sticking in terms of trying to turn my life around. You've inspired me, and I will have a go at your weekly spread with the Empress Rx + The Emperor card. Thank you for your wisdom and rawness, its deeply appreciated ❤
Thank you for the reminder ❤❤❤❤ I’m still in that journey ❤❤❤ healing and self love or should I say discovering myself again what I love to do not easy to start over ❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! Thank you for sharing such a raw, frank video. This is a new light on the Empress for me. What a huge journey! Just, awesome. You got me in the feels. Hard road, well travelled. Sorry I cant express those feels more eloquently. And I'm so moved to get my bum back to some weight training right now. 😂
Thank you for your kind words xo 😘
Thank you for sharing this video and it is an insight to the Empress.
Glad it was helpful!
I know I can go back to it if I need to.
The Spirit Animal Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid.
Thank you
Wonderful! Thank you for reminding me of the power of The Empress ❤️
You are so welcome 🙏
Dear gentle girl, l am sending you angel light love protection beauty enchantment perfect health, and so shall it be, kind regards from a Taurus in Melbourne Australia 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Thank you 🙏
Roflmao those are not hardcore.. Hardcore books are the old medieval and other classics written often in Latin and which takes years if not decades to comprehend.
I had no idea that the deck I made was a soul card deck! Love that name 😍
I have both tarot and oracle decks. I love both! I'm barely in the beginnings of learning divination so thank you so much for this video. <3
Congratulations 🥂 you are so welcome
That necklace looks beautiful on you. Good review. I have 6 of these decks and agree.
Thank you 🙏
Healing Blessings 🙏🏻🩷😇
Thank you 🙏
Love the crystal alley orical deck melody's tarot deck
Very cool!
Wow you truly are amazing! You explained everything so clearly and beautifully. Thank you I was able to understand and gain knowledge that I am seeking
Thank you lovely 🥰
Such a lovely deck. Is on my wishlist for a while now.
Nice 👍
Hello, I was watching this video of yours earlier today. And it got me a bit marinating 😅 I came across the white light oracle i believe from Alana Fairchild earlier. And back then I also was wondering... should i??? No! I have enough oracle decks. Haha! Now i have seen your video and listening to the things you are saying about the impact of the booklet. I am again on that crossroad. Should i? Like a lot of people i Am trying to find a way to do that healing work. Crappy childhood, emotional blockages, family and society conditioning.... etc. But when it comes to card work I have no clue how I can introduce that healing in my own practice. Would you still do a simply daily draw with these kind of powerful decks?? Read the book and let that marinate😅 (I love that phrase😊) and do some journaling if you feel to or crying or whatever is going on? Or do you need to do bigger more complicated spreads?? Cause also for me... I dont really feel drawn to the artwork... but if that booklet is so powerful for healing old... 🤐... then I might want to give it a go.
Thank you for your detailed question. I would highly recommend this deck. That said, it takes a hot minute to integrate the healing message. So I would recommend a card a week. But of course, that advice depends on how quickly you personally integrate your messages. It takes me about a week and a half, sometimes even two weeks.
@AvalonCameron 1 card readings, and be patient. Check. I can do that. I have been practicing with patience and compassion. Quite the amazing change. Thank you for your reply. Appreciate that 🙏🏼
Thanks for this information , good video
Thank you 🙏
I'm in love with her art, I really wanted to buy a deck from her but I don't think she sells it in my country, Brazil 😞
Que pena, talvez seria melhor você mandar um e-mail para ela e ver o que eles podem fazer. Boa sorte 👍
Not sponsored! Most annoying thing someone can possibly say.
AWESOME, thank you! I too need to control myself, sit back and absorb the beauty of my darling books and decks. I am quite a lot older than you and it suddenly struck me that I probably don't have enough time left to re-read every book and delve into every deck that I have, but I'm going to make a real good stab at it 💕💗
I’m trying hard to reconnect to each of my decks in was that are meaningful to me. It’s a vibe
This was very insightful thank you
My pleasure 😇
Oh~ Soul cards are beautiful~
Yes, they really are.
Oooh~~ video aired on my birthday~
Nawww happy birthday 🎂
Amazing chat, Avalon, thank you! As a person who reads Tarot for only 5 years, I learned now that I am actually a psychic tarot reader. Thank you for shedding a light on this, it was enlightening :) Images and words give me instant downloads. I still strive to become a more structured reader yet I am not sure if it's my thing or I'll stay in the psychic zone.
Well thank you and I’m truly happy that my video provided some help to you.
It truly did, I love your videos and your generosity in sharing your knowledge. Blessings! 🙏🌻☀
What I have found is that none of Alana Fairchild's decks are an easy thing. You have to work on all of them.
It’s true, her decks are guidebook dependent.
I did not know, I do now 😊 thank you.
It’s so fascinating 🧐 I honestly cannot believe it. My mind was a bit blown.
Wonderful! Loved hearing about your process. Your passion and enthusiasm are infectious!! Blessed be!
Thank you so much ☺️
I have the Britney Spears oracle cards I really don’t know how to use it can you help? I don’t know how to really get an answer it’s my first and only deck because I’m a huge Britney fan but its mostly Britney facts with a little sentence at the end like live life to the fullest and take chances but yeah if you could help I’d appreciate it, also when I ask the oracle cards, how many cards do I pull for the answer? Just one? I usually pick either one or three
I have not worked with the Brittany oracle, but from what you have described, it sounds like an affirmation deck. In which case, you would use it to affirm an intent or journal about such an intent. I recommend looking into the guidebook if it has one to find out more. That aside, you can always read the cards symbolically, in which case you can pull as many cards as you like 👍
Hi. I know this video is one year old and you probably won't see my comment, but... I wanted to thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm from Rio as well. I wasn't born into umbanda like you. Although there was a terreiro very close to the house I grew in, and several people around me practiced this culture. But my family comes from a Christian tradition, and so I was basically raised in the church. Sadly, I was brainwashed to see umbanda and all african originated spirituality as evil. Last year tho, I went through a radical deconstruction of my Christian faith, and was simultaneously pulled into the witchcraft, neo-pagan rabbit hole, because the witch archetype has resonated with me since I can remember. So I've been spending the last few months studying and researching witchcraft, paganism, animism, and one aspect of it all has been bugging me lately, which is the land spirits, ancestral part of the practice. I was originally intending to shape my practice around the european traditions (which is part of my ancestry as well), there's even a norse deity calling out to me recently. But part of me feels compelled to work with the traditions and practices I have right now around me. The spirits of this brazilian land, the native part of my ancestry. I don't wanna leave it behind in favor of an eurocentric practice. I want both sides integrated into my life, because all of it matters to me. So lately, I've been feeling drawn to umbanda. Because although I wasn't born into it, many elements of it have always surrounded me. I even though of visiting that terreiro close to my first home. But there's still part of me that's uncomfortable with it, there's still a voice in my head that says "stay away from it, it's not your culture, it's not for you". Your video has made me realize that I shouldn't fear umbanda, that there's nothing wrong with at least researching it, reaching out to some practicioners I know. That no matter what my blood ancestry is, the spirits and the culture of this land I was born into should still be acknowledged and honored. Thank you so much ❤ blessed be.
Hello lovely, thank you for your beautiful comment. To cut a long story short, Umbanda is a national religion in many ways. It was created to fit the vibrant landscapes of Brazil and its colourful salubrious people. Umbanda in the earth there, its spirits were welcomed to Brazil a long time ago. You have interacted with umbanda offerings in the streets and the crossroads. There is nothing to fear, nothing evil. It’s simply a different lens through which to understand and interact with divinity. Umbanda is worth understanding. It’s rather special and a source of beautiful magic and ritual. I hope you can give yourself permission to take a closer look. Best of luck.
@@AvalonCameron Thank you so much for replying! I wish the best for you and your channel 🤍
It's very beautiful 😍
It really is.
Thank you for the beautiful video. Such a blessing! ❤
I’m happy you enjoyed it.
The Worldless Oracle (2022 Rae Barker) is an intuitive deck that I've discovered and now love.
Oooo good to know! I’ll check it out now. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for sharing your tips on tarot. Stay safe and blessed be.
Thank you lovely
I could not click on this quick enough Avalon and it didn't disappoint! It was amazing to get this glimpse into your tarot practice at the moment. Personally I'm focusing on tarot study and Journaling right now and I'm reaching for oracle more often than tarot. I enjoyed your discussion of academic vs. psychic vs. intuitive reading styles... my friend Doris reads with the Thoth as a psychic and it's amazing. Blessings Avalon ❤
Naww thanks Gem 💎 I too am focusing on study and journaling. It’s super nourishing to my practice. It’s so good to hear from you. I hope you and the family are doing well.
I love this video!!! Thank you for sharing. I, too, LOVE tarot with a passion. I have been reading for 38 years and what I've learned is there is still more to learn. I retired about 5 years ago and am thrilled how that has allowed me a lot of time to deep dive. I've moved away from basic beginner decks into more intuitive decks and different types of free form reading. I'm enjoying decks like Haunted Manor and have learned to love 3 Dark Moons after an initial blah reaction. I LOVE Circle of Doors and have reconnected with Mary-El. Avalon, when you create your next deck you have the love, skills and knowledge to step into what I call these more advanced type decks (still having the RWS basics). You go girl! I have followed you for years keep up the fantastic work! Thanks.
Thank you so much ☺️ what an AWESOME comment to read. Yes 🙌🏼 to more complex decks. I know just what you mean. Thank you for your words of encouragement. Big love to you xo 😘
' You live and breathe your cards as you move through life'. I looove that! I am on my journey and learning everyday
I love it too, thank you 🙏
It's really interesting to me that you mention how the Tower card strikes up a kind of shock in you. Thinking about it just now in the majors, for myself, it's the Chariot and the Judgement cards. There is something very wild in both those cards. I almost feel they have some resonance symbolically with one another. There is definitely some interesting food for thought thinking about the feeling when you pull certain cards. I think I sometimes assumed I was just not keyed into the meaning of the cards. Running into a gap in my knowledge, but thinking about it as more of a personal shock is super potent. Thank you for that insight. Best wishes, I hope you are doing well.
It's really fascinating how everyone has their own triggers, stalkers, and unknowables with tarot. Judgement and The Chariot never create a response in me, whereas the Tower is always a call for definitive action.
Yes, I’m personally extremely captivated by the idea of tarot triggers. I’m not “frightened” by any Tarot card. Personally, I’m more “affected” by the medicine and madness of a card. It’s fascinating to me.
Very true. It’s a “to each their own” type of calling. And for me, it’s changes form decade to decade. I figure it’s because it talks me a minute to make total peace with the medicine and madness of whichever card is triggering me at the time.
@@mindyroberts5034 When I see the chariot it pulls at me because of the active energy within it. I think of the 7s that intersect across the minors. The 7 of swords and the 7 of cups. All that "movement " draws a response out of me. And with Judgment the symbols are so big, that apocalyptic imagery is intense for me. I wouldn't call it fear or anything, but more like a distinctly high saturated emotion which is worth sensing and exploring. Until she mentioned this I hadn't scanned my brain for a card that reliably pinged a unique intuitive response across multiple readings.
Thank you for sharing this video and it is really beautiful. Stay safe and blessed be.
Thank you 🙏
Well I was meant to have Sacred Rebels, If you can find a deck, used, good quality and under ten including shipping. you grab it. never mind the fact i'm kind of broke atm. that just proves this was supposed to happen.
I really like this deck. I love the unique shape and iv always loved Fezs artwork. The gaming/storytelling system of the deck is really fun and interesting, It offers a great opportunity for pathworking and active imagination. I love that kind of medieval fantasy world building and aesthetic so I immediately snapped it up when I saw someone mention it on another channel (sorry cant remeber whos channel). I've found it pairs really well with The Everyday Witch Tarot.
Good to know. This is my first experience with Fez Inkwrite’s art work. It’s simple yet effective.
@AvalonCameron they have illustrated a couple of books. You might like their 'Botanical curses and Poisons - The Shadow lives of plants". They authored and illustrated this beautiful book.
@annaarwen4345 I just checked back in on their website and I found another cool deck by her. I might consider adding that to my 2025 Tarot Oracle wish list.
@AvalonCameron oooh I will go check it out. I think I may have already seen it and yes, its gorgeous 😍
@AvalonCameron oooooh I wlll go check it out. I think I may have already seen it, and yes, its gorgeous! 😍

Great to hear from you lovelies! And thank you for the lovely feedback. Looking 👀 forward to seeing the changes you plan on making. I truely adore your work. Thank you again.
are Oracle cards an Aussie thing? everyone I've clicked on has been Australian.
Lots of oracle decks were published by Rock Pool and Blue Angel who are Australian publishing houses.
I received something similar with the Witches Roots. Telling me what is is in it. Thank you for sharing this box and it is absolutely beautiful. Stay safe and blessed be.
Thank you lovely 🥰
@@AvalonCameron your welcome
What an amazing box!! I love it all. Enjoy beautiful lady. ❤
Thank you 🙏
Nice! I’ve been getting The Witches Roots boxes and doing unboxing/ review videos! I think I love all 3 of their boxes lol. Too bad I’m not rich to get them all 😂. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you and I know right!
Another beautiful box by the witches moon. I love the new style of the paper pieces and the inclusion of bodywash. It's pronounced Hi-gia as shes the goddess of hygiene. Hestia is the Greek goddess of the hearth. Her roman counterpart is Vesta.
Thank you, Emma, good to know! And yes, the change in paper is so very cool. They have created more value in their boxes by embracing these changes.
Wow! A lot of magical loot!
Indeed! I'm always surprised by how much they can fit inside these boxes.
I love the new manifest style they have created.
Indeed! It's a decisive adjustment that they have made.
