Thank you for the video--I am researching this for my condition of psoriatic arthritis. I am currently on Humira and can't find any interaction info between LDN and Humira. Do you have any info or insight on this?
Thank you for the comment! I see you also sent us an email. I’ll be sure one of our compounding pharmacists replies to you via email. Thank you!
Works for some the only thing it did to me was give me head explosions
Thanks for sharing! It certainly isn’t for everyone and is something you need to discuss with your physician.
@@HBPharmacyUSA he has never heard of head explosions, aka auditory hallucinations. Geese Doc, Google it, lol.
I have been on it about 8 years! Low dose 4.5 mg compounded. I went to urgent care and the doc says” I know you are in drugs” huh? No sir, I am not!!!
Lol! Thank you so much for sharing!
Side effects were very strong in my case and I started with 0.5 mg.; however I kne since day one it would work cause tbe first day I took it tbe swelling in my gumms just disappear. I switch the dose in tbe morning and just reduced tbe dose even lower. 6 weeks later I have been unable to go above 1.5 mg but it is ok. My childten are taking 4mg and tbeu are doing well.
Thank you for sharing your experience! Happy to discuss further if you’d like to email us and speak with a compounding RPh
@@margaritasaborio4475 may I ask what you take it for and what do you children take it for?
Does it cause weight gain?
If it helps. My children and I have been taking LDN for 6 weeks. None of us have gained any weight and in my personal case it has helped a lot with the stomach bloating. I assume that long term it would actually help me loose some weight once inflammation subsides.
Good question! In general LDN therapy specifically is not associated with weight gain based on studies and our anecdotal experience in working with patients.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
@@HBPharmacyUSA thank you,
@@margaritasaborio4475 thank you. How much do each of you take and may I ask what you take it for?
Can you discuss how this could be effective with T1 Diabetes.? With type 1, we've been taught that our immune system had a problem "at one time" where it did some bad business in the pancreas, but then its done and over....so, its not like our bodies are "chronically" fighting the problem... would LDN have any effect on the underlying issue.? Help me understand please...😁
This is an excellent and insightful question! Naturally, like we mentioned, this information is all based on newer studies that is constantly evolving. On a case by case basis, individuals may respond differently. Please keep in mind this is NOT medical guidance and specifics should be discussed with your providers who know your personal history. That said, in general, LDN is being studied carefully in type 1 diabetic patients. Though it isn’t likely that it can reverse the condition, the research seems to indicate LDN MAY help increase insulin sensitivity and MAY help improve A1C levels. Please email us if you’d like more info as again we strongly suggest you have a discussion with your provider to see if this would be useful for you specifically as this is based on preliminary research and is not intended to be formal guidance or a recommendation.
This information is not helpful 😒 I needed something without side effects No Starchy No Aluminum
Sorry you didnt find this helpful! A lot of heartburn medication can be chosen based on one’s history. We discuss things like this all the time with patients whose medical history we’re familiar with. We recommend discussing with your doctor/pharmacist directly to help you troubleshoot and choose an option that works for you.
Today, I took my first 1.5 mg of LDN in hopes of preventing Migraine. I do believe that there is a movement with migraine research physicians to see that for some patients, bringing down inflammation helps. I’m hopeful. Glad I listened as I now know to be patient about how much time it takes. Thank you for posting this.
You’re welcome! Glad you found it helpful. Please feel free to keep us posted on your treatment!
Excellently done 🎉
Thanks a lot 😊
I need a provider in West Tennessee it's like 10 years ago. Before I die. Mast cell activation caused by diazepam. 12 years intractable pain to fail back surgeries. Now I have Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr, RA, I'm in so much pain. Now allergic to food. Starvation. Malnutrition. Osteoarthritis. Now I have vascular issues is that I did not have before. My hair is falling out. I'm going to lose my teeth in my eyesight. Ask my PM doctor for this a year ago. He says it doesn't work. 😭🤬
Hi Julie…very sorry to hear about your challenges. If you’d like, shoot us an email at pharmacist at hbpharmacy.com. We can share some compounding pharmacies in your area. Perhaps one of those pharmacies can share a physician they work with in your area who may be able to help you.
@@HBPharmacyUSA Have you heard anybody say that they have mast cell activation from diazepam withdrawal/ poison? There are many members of the beating benzos group that agree with me on the mast cell. They didn't have any health issues before.. I had a multitude of underlying health issues I was unaware of. And maybe they are too.. in the process of trying to find proof of this.. I know diazepam is listed as a mast cell stabilizer but everything affects me exactly opposite of way it's supposed to.
May God bless you & your love ones. I have a very rare autoimmune disease and 2 days ago my neurologist suggested I try LDN. I live in a small town in Colorado so I will probably have to drive about an hour to a compound pharmacy. All the information you provided, and how you readily made yourself available to help anyone was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for putting my mind at ease and for your generous caring heart. 🙏
You’re welcome! Thank you very much for the kind words. Happy to answer any future questions you may have if they come up!
Good Day Compounding Pharmacy in Ft. Collins delivers throughout Colorado. Maybe others do too.
@@barbaras.5545 not familiar with them, but thank you for sharing! we work with patients around the country but do primarily help patients in NJ. Turn around times and level of service tend to be best when you’re local, so it’s always good to learn about other good pharmacies!

@@HBPharmacyUSA Unfortunately ... My pharmacist quit after i handed him the 5.3.6 pfzr document....

Love all the information on LDN. I’m taking 4.5mg for Hashimoto thyroiditis and it is helping my TPO levels to go down. Thanks again
You’re welcome! Glad to hear it!
For initial application, does topi-click need to be primed? It seems a lot of product gets stuck under the cap.
Replied under your other comment!
For topi-click, what about product that remains stuck under the cap? Is that supposed to be part of the dose?
Thanks for writing. That’s a great question. Usually topiclick type devices usually don’t need to be primed. If cream is accumulating in the cap the bottle it’s likely that pressure within the container is causing more cream to come through the holes on the top. If this happens what may help is the following …. After using the prescribed number of clicks try dialing back the device one to two clicks in the opposite direction. That should relieve the pressure. When you are ready to use for next dose dial those same one or two clicks (whatever you dialed backwards) to stop the pressure and then additionally dial the prescribed amount of clicks and apply your cream. Again once you’re done you may dial back 1-2 clicks to once again relieve the pressure. This should stop the cream from accumulating in the cap. Feel free to give us a call at 201-997-2010 if you like. Thanks!
i need this not available in the phils
Naltexone is much more expensive in Australia compared to the price u said it is in America. A 3 month supply is $225.00
Interesting!
My naturopathic doctor prescribed it to me. I wish my insurance covered the cost. It’s not as expensive as other things but my budget is stretched too thin. I just started titration a couple days ago. It might be doing something🤷♀️it could be placebo or other things but I feel lighter in a way, more energy, less sluggish. I’m interested to see how it goes when I get up to a higher dose.
Thank you for sharing! Yes unfortunately many compounded meds like this one aren’t covered. Not sure where you’re located, but feel free to look us up and give us a call if you’d like to keep us posted on how you’re doing! We typically dispense a “starter kit” and separate continuing dose which sounds similar to your prescribed protocol.
You can compound it yourself. Much cheaper
@@MsAEJ How?
I know of IV infusion therapy. I have had it done on &:off for the kast 10 years. I was under the weather in March & i had a Myers cocktail with extra Vitamin C & glutathione. I recommend it. Also if one need to know which nutrients one may be low on, there is a lab test one can have done. It measures 32 nutriens in the DNA level, not the serum. It is by a company named "Spectracell" in Houston. I go to a place "Any Labs" draw the blood,: they in turn send my blood to Spectracell & i get the results. This lab will show which nutrients are low. Based on the results one csn determine what infusion to have administered.
Thanks for the comment! Nutrient testing is a great idea and we’ve used a few vendors for this over the years, but Spectracell is one of them!
But i already have a toilet
That was pretty funny not gonna lie
Pinna alternatives?
Sir please what about to inject it into laps
This is such great info and working with a doctor here in Chicago, but would like to give you call on perhaps another dr as one specialist that I saw was really discouraging me from taking this. I'm on 4.5

@@HBPharmacyUSA great I'll call today.
I have been on 4.5mg since July last year, and I must say, I CANNOT take this medicine at night. If I take it at 10pm, I don't fall asleep until 3am. So I take it at 4pm now adays. The 6 hour half-life wears off and I can be asleep by 10pm...

Does your pharmacy have different fillers. My pharmacy only uses avicel which make me ill. At least I think.

Many thanks for the valuable informations. How can we get it ? Do u ship wordwide?
Thank you! LDN is a compounded medication and only available from a compounding pharmacy with a valid prescription from a doctor in the US. If not in the US, please check with doctors/pharmacies in your local area.
What about manufacturers? Are they all the same quality I mean for pills 50 mg
This is a compounded medication, meaning made from scratch in a compound pharmacy with a valid prescription. It entirely depends on the quality of the ingredients used in each formulation, so there can be some variability. Some patients, for example, may be allergic to certain types of capsules used.
@@HBPharmacyUSAA bit of a disingenuous response. You're not synthesising the Naltrexone HCL, but sourcing it from somewhere. Most likely dissolving and filtering 50mg tabs, dosing the solvent onto your own filler substrate, drying and putting in capsules.
Actually we’re not dissolving commercial tablets! As a compounding pharmacy we buy our pure active ingredients, fillers, etc from PCCA and other accredited distributors for compounding pharmacies. Like we mentioned in the video, it’s important to use companies like PCCA as some pharmacies do crush commercial tablets or use less reputable sources, which can impact patient outcomes. You can learn more about PCCA here: www.pccarx.com/AboutUs/WhoisPCCA
Thank you for this honest conversation about LDN
Thank you for watching!
This is a very helpful video! I don't know where you all are getting these docile cats though. My cat is fond of me, but still I hope I'm not bleeding by the 10-second mark 😄
