    There is a Value vs non value video on Lean made simple channel. I just think about how it is related to speed puzzling. What is the real value? Normally there are some standard process steps, unboxing, flipping, sorting groups based on edge/non edges or pattern or color. Then assembling small groups, or makeing first the edge. A lots of trial, rotating.... In the ideal world, every piece is flipped, and we know the exact location (no need to lookfor on the image), and can move there. This is the value. What are wastes here? finding, trial, put back, trial again, move small assembled parts, moving flipped and grouped pieces because we have too much inventory and we dont have enough space on table....😀😊

    Thanks for review I have this board and mainly use the smaller removable boards for doing 500 piece puzzles on the couch. I use a different board for 1000 but if I need to store away under couch I put the more portable board into this one to protect the jigsaw pieces.

    Love your review! I love this brand of puzzle as good quality and full size poster makes it much easier to spot where certain pieces go, rather than having to use a magnifying glass! I tend to stick poster on wall next to where I'm doing my puzzle so easier to refer to and don't need more space on a table.

    I have one where looks like a pattern on back it’s got chequered around the the inside on flat sizes about four bits in toward middle then there’s blue something and red big circle. Any idea what it looks like on it? X

    I have a few Heye puzzles and bought them all together in one spree - I love the graphics, just so cool. The first one I done was Notre Dame - but found it very loose, whenever I moved or bumped a small section it fell apart - put me right off and I dont think I’ll do the others for a while - still have Monkey Habitat and Bunny Battles to do.

    BlueKazoo are my favorite puzzle brand. I have 12 of their puzzles, but only completed 2, the train and the boat. I have the Earth trio, and Starrywave. They also do Mercury and Mars among others but usually only have a small selection - check out their website. The Vintage styles are my favorites - I’m doing the Goldfish very soon - 3rd on my ‘todo list’.

    I love your reviews. My favorite puzzles are BlueKazoo & Ravensburger. I do like most of the puzzle companies you mention but think BlueKazoo and Ravensburger are streets ahead quality-wise. I have bought several Heye puzzles to do but was put off after doing the first - the quality was great but the fit was very loose, which I didnt like. I’m now a subscriber - so will be watching your videos.

    Horrid when you pick up a virus. Sometimes it takes longer than you expect to feel better again. Hopefully you are on the mend now. The subtitles popped up with some intriguing words. I saw - best way to "jam you up" will be..... I'm trying to think what that could have been. When you feel better perhaps you can tell me what you did say. I enjoyed the puzzle that you did and look forward to the next one, whenever that may be.

    Oh I liked that one, loved the coach and horse. I've already done all my advent jigsaw puzzles, glued them and waiting for my son to hang them up for me. Four designs, Christmas tree, snowman, bauble and stocking, 22 in all. Gibsons Christmas Around the World.

    Thanks for watching. Is anyone else doing a calendar puzzle this year?

  • @puzzlepiece9509
    @puzzlepiece9509 Жыл бұрын

    That was a nice puzzle. You would have thought that Galison would take into consideration the size of the bag and make the door big enough to get it out without causing any damage. You obviously don't wish to cut the box in any way to make the hole bigger. You shouldn't have to fiddle and wriggle the bag to get it out! If you were struggling just think how much harder it could be for a small child. Anyway look forward to the next one.

    Hi Maddie. Yay, a Gibsons!! I have seen this one before and thought it was beautiful. I've just started one of theirs called 'Christmas Treats'. It's a really lovely, nostalgic one. By the way, my husband and I are enjoying your other channel! If you enjoy castles, you would probably like the Gibsons 'Castle Cutaway', have you seen it?

  • @puzzlesplease

    Aww just searched for the puzzle that you are doing, lovely, reminds me of Christmas baking with my Grandma long ago. Thank you 😊 yes I have seen Castle Cutaway by Gibson's, in fact it is one of my favorite puzzles and quite special for me as it was the first ever puzzle I recorded on this channel 😄

    Lovely puzzle to start off the Christmas season. Can't really see the gold foil bit, but just caught a glimpse when you lifted the puzzle. Are you planning to do a Christmas puzzle every day or will that be a rather tall order?

  • @puzzlesplease
    @puzzlesplease Жыл бұрын

    Thank you 😊 oh shame you can't see the foil but will remember to try more camera angles next time. I will most likely be puzzling everyday 😜 but unfortunately time limitations and the day job stop me from recording everyday hehe.
