Sometimes its okay to have a stagnant mc as long as the base of the mc is already great. Giorno has a great motive that pushes him forward, a great personality that makes him enjoyable to watch, and a backstory that we can all understand and emphasize with. Giorno isn't the best Giorno but he isn't the worst either.

So two questions (haven’t watched part 5): 1. How the hell did doppio still survive all that?? You’d think his brain crapping out a razor blade would seal the deal, but I guess anime durability disagrees 2. Why was Aerosmith even shooting at people without confirmation of who they are? Did they not know that there were two people? Why shoot risotto?

1. Doppio survived thanks to rissotos own personality, he could have won the fight a thousand to one. but because he wanted to know who the boss was he didnt go in for the kill / he has a bad habit of learning everything he can from his opponents / he plays it too safe. 2. Aerosmith was there because doppio tossed the scalpels at them trying to snipe them, so they sent the bomber where the scalpels came from.

I think the way this fight ends is complete bull crap, a scalpel getting chucked in your direction is suspicious sure, but why on earth would narancia shoot the guy without even verifying if they actually are a stand user. Like that could have just been some random dude that you just shot 16 bullets into?!

Sometimes its okay to have a stagnant mc as long as the base of the mc is already great.
