  "Boomboom" used to live here in my beautiful, festive beach town. He performed at our local gay bar a few times, long versions of his song "Boom Boom". I chose not to make his acquaintance, but he seemed like a nice guy. Handsome fellow, for true!

  Loved the song since its first release in '86, but 39 years later? Hmm, these days I still find it remarkable, but for a slightly different reason. The reason, that it really does sound like it's a, "Systematic one man show". Meaning, it sounds just like what you would expect from a sophmore high schooler on a cheap keyboard in his bedroom studio.

  This is SO OVERLOOKED!! This is my second favorite song on this particular album. We all already know what the first one is. 😁👍 Of COURSE - "Touch and Go"! But, this is a damn good one in its own right! I've seen ELP twice with Carl Palmer but I've never had the pleasure of seeing Cozy Powell with or without Rainbow... which I also missed - but, NOT Deep Purple! 😁 One of those times at ELP, they put Jethro Tull to shame opening up for them one night at Merriwhether Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. And..I LIKE them! Them, I've seen twice too. They were ALL good shows and I can't complain. The VERY best was Pink Floyd though. 4 times there..
