Good to see an American concretor use chairs. What I don’t understand with American concretors is why do you all touch concrete with your hands, that’s what tools are for. You would be asked to leave immediately if you did this and never return in Australia.

Always impresses me seeing you guys prime-out with just water. Do you figure it's more a function of having a ball-valve machine versus an S-tube? the mix design? or both? Finished driveway turned out mint!!!! Nice job guys 👌👌👌

Gotta be a ball-valve thing. I ran a Putz ball-valve for years before I ever touched an s-tube and I didn't know there was any other way to prime. Always water to prime and water to wash.

I get plugged with water at like 110ft in Texas . Betonite has been working good so far on priming.

Amazing work man just wanted to ask if u find it easier to pump from where u are holding the hose and allowing the tip to sag and how’s pulling the hose back. what would you say is the way u like to lay down the hose just learning to pump and would appreciate any pointers

Thanks for the support man! But me personally I find it easier for not only for me but also the finishers when I pump with the tip to sag. It all really depends on the size hose if it’s 2 1/2 inch hose then it’s impossible to pump like that. Pulling the hose is not that hard what I like to personally do is to leave the reducer to where it won’t be moved a lot so whenever you or the finisher are pulling the hose they don’t need to struggle.

The service was back to back until the last truck so I didint really want to washout because I knew by the time I would be done washing out the other truck will arrive.

I actually did cut off several hose if you look at the video on the grass there is a couple empty hose laying there. It wasn’t a lot of dragging back hose since the truck was nearby to easily wash out.

What's the big canister behind the hopper? I'm still trying learn our trailer a bit. Have had trouble priming the last to times with Fritz pack. Is it better to place a ball in front of the primer when priming? Our trailer is definitely a learning curve.

That big canister is the oxygen tank you adjust the oxygen depending on the amount of hose you have you also need it to avoid the pump to kick. I prime out with water I have never tried to put a ball infront because I usually reduce the hose sizes

Looks like you forgot to put water in for your Prime and you never let us see your manifold might have had a lot of buildup in it that's a nice little pump you got good job getting that job done the main thing was not to panic open that pump up every now and then and get that build up out of there check your cylinders for balls too if you're pumping it too wet they build up in these Olins..

Thanks for the advice and support I appreciate it a lot 🙌🏽 I had water in hopper and was priming out fine until it gave me a big kick and locked out I didint show this in the video but there actually was a other plug in a hose so maybe that is what locked it in the hopper but im not sure but I will try to get every bit of film I always forget that I have the camera lol

Ya well the 2.5 hose are a bit more heavier they have their cons but also have their goods with the 2.5 you’re are capable to run heavier mixes and reducing the chances of getting plugged

@@canadianconcretepumper1979 Yes depends on the weather. If we see that it is a cloudy day with the weather around low 50s degrees we do add accelerator but nothing more than the 2 %.

Plugs suck on ball valve olins. Would way rather plug on an s tube or ball valve pump. Reverse pump is so nice.

I dunno. You're all wearing heavy clothing. If that ground goes through freezing/thawing cycles, fiber may not be enough. The lines do plug up sometimes. It's annoying but you just have to break it down and clear the clog. Rubber dries the crete out a lot faster than metal. That's why we used metal pipe up until the last 30 ft or so. You're concrete is just oozing out. Ours shot out. We used a big pumper. We made hooks out of rebar to drag the hose around.

I see where you’re coming from but we’re from California where when it’s 50 degrees it feels like -5 but the least it goes here is mid 40s. But plugs up are always different for every other pumper we learn and improve. Thank you for watching and commenting !
