I found Dr. Tyna in massage therapist school in 2014. Love seeing her blow up. I'm 54, in peri, with a husband 9 years my junior and 3 stepkids aged 20, 18 & 16. Because of her message we're all thriving and to be fair, we shouldn't be as we've all had to overcome insane obstacles. Carry on, being fantastic.
I'm sold, just make it remotely affordable. it's 700 CAD plus 15% tax, then 150 in shipping. I have other rogue bars that are about half the cost.
whats the height of this guy?
Thanks for this Chris! I've often thought those squat type jumps were more about flexibility than vertical hops. Didn't even know people did straight leg version until recently. I like it a lot better.
When will the grand goals film come out?
my arms come up to my waist with long legs, I have to worst build for deadlifting, clean style or squatting it up makes it easier
St----- Spotter
1min
55 seconds 400 m
I think the best Chris can achieve on the 400 metres is about 200 metres.
She is soooo pretty, her smile 🥰🥰🥰
I’d be impressed with anything under 60s. 250-300m into the race hits you like a fucking brick wall
Will I become like the demo guy if I do like that?
Steps (note to self) 1:55 bracing before hinging 3:39 more clearly explained it as "bracing from a neutral position" in this case, that would be standing with the middle of your foot over the barbell. This is what I observed with lifters such as ProfessionalWeakGuy bracing before hinging. He does that emote thing...
Less weight more reps
That obviously wasn't for bodybuilding. Why do morons think they know better then some of the strongest people in the world?
Not the way to build power.
Pretty sure he did his back in on that one. That walk is a back spasm in action.
No it's because he has his knees wrapped so tight he can't bend them lol
The walk after he takes off he’s belt is Hilarious 😂 but seriously I hope he’s 👍 ok
The spotter stops focusing at the most crucial moment 😂
Holy Eff! 💪😎
just imagine being invited to be there the knowlodge you could gain!
D U F F I N ! Whiskey and Deadlifts paid off.
One of my heros
Ironworkers just do additions differently.
Is this just about the heaviest bent over rows ever performed? Jeez
Wouldn’t the extended range of motion at the bottom of the rep put excessive stress on the ac joint?
Those welds though 🫠
Reverse hypers are an incredible tool. The McGill methods and sparing the spine are outstanding. The point that nobody ever talks about is that everyone has individual needs. Some people have a tendency toward either flexion or extension and these individuals have entirely different needs. The flexion/ disc folks are typically the ones that do poorly with reverse hypers. (Even though reverse hypers are great decompression). Over extension patients (bad facet loading/ anterior pelvic tilt) think that reverse hypers are a gift from god. It decompresses the lumbosacral area like nothing else will. Not bird dogs, side planks, or curl ups! That said, spinal sparing/ perfect hinging helps anyone. Categorize, there are no absolutes.
Thanks a lot
What is the closest grip allowed in powerlifting?
This is what I like, which is simple. These really long explanations just get overly complex and confusing. So I assume the shoulder blades are retracted and down? Just a question, not a critique, because my goal is the safest shoulder position possible.
This is super helpful, I’ve needed help with this for a long time. Thank you!
8 years ago I saw You broken on IG - I extended my hand and gave You words of kindness to lift You up - You thanked me. Today 8 years later You lifted something heavier than Your DL or SQ - Me. I needed to hear this Chris. I'm going back to work. I know what must be done to create wonderful future. PS : I often recommend Anti- Fragile book by Nassim Taleb to people.
Amazing video!!
i've been training consistently for over a year and i've been super frustrated with my lack of chest activation for, well, over a year. this was my exact problem. couldn't find this information anywhere else on the internet. absolute godsend
Love your spirit Chris! 💪💛✌️ Thanks for sharing! 😎
Really needed to hear this. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾 Love the head down analogy.
This is a great conversation!!
It's not even a stupid duffin trick it's just impressive
Easy plus I have bigger muscles
Your tatoos look like my wife's dress
And he’s right in front of his ac fan lmao
Do you take your steroids in pill form or an injection?
Wow for 50 he sure moves like hes not even 65 yet! Zzz...zzz...
now thats a man right there lol
Back flexion versus performing an inverted leg raise havevdiffetent dynamics. Back flexion involves compression amd gravity. Lying on your stomach and pulling your legs underneath shifts gravity of your legs ,from down to forward. It is a natural hip flexion movement upside down,it is not even close to standing spinal flexion. You can look at it look at it like a cat cow with resistance.
Hey Chris, I really appreciate what you are doing, hats off to the phenomenal worldclass accomplishments you have done. Sorry to hear how the story of Kabuki evolved over the last few months. But it doesn't surprise me that much, looking into the business model. Selling a product at such high quality to a still niche market with no recurring rev model is a setup for volatility. And fin lev should only go as far as rev volatility allows. I learned this sentence the hard way, too. We are rooting for you Chris and Kabuki to comeback, excited for whats to come.
I know this is starting off slow but I think it will blow up when it more people catch on to it
I did this and literally got 22 reps instead of 14 reps the 2 previous sets 😅 gonna try 1-3 reps next time I bench and see what i get
I’m sure these guys know a lot about the human body and it’s repair and development but they’re wrong on this one.
Breathing 😮💨 is so overrated. Just practice meditation so you don’t have to breathe 🧘 as much. 😅
