i liked the demo because it was hard, but i admit it's nice to see you die :)))
Haha. The first time I played the first boss it took me 45 min xD
Will take a lot today 😀 will do my devlog soon too ! Love the art!
Eyy thanks !!!
How long did it take you to defeat the first boss?
Awesome! how long did it take to paint the art?
@@Ralke1 this one took around 4 hours.
I wish I was as good as you
Thanks for the comment, but really I still have a really long way to go. Feel free to join the discord, we can all get there together 🙏
This is so exciting!

Interesting concept, cool visuals and mechanics, I for sure gotta check this out congrats on 1k subs
Thank youu !! And let me know what you think
Dude this looks sick! Definitely gonna play this later
Hope you like it.
Do you enjoy playing game demos?
Yes
whats the point of playing if u can just one shot everything ?
You can't one shot everything. This video is just for demonstration and you need to build energy to use this weapon
Great stuff thanks a lot man

Personally, I am against AI. I know human nature all too well and it will be misused to the point where it destroys all of civilization, it's just a matter of how much time. Consider that it's already been misused and is still being misused to this day. Consider that it won't even take a proper AGI to achieve total destruction because we already have all the components to do it, it would just require someone either evil enough or irresponsible enough to put them together and hit go. Image recognition software can be linked remotely with a device built into a quad-copter drone which can also control any weapon the user wants. It would just take a modicum of skills to connect the dots. Imagine a whole fleet of drones continuously printed with a field of 3D printers while robotic arms put them together on an assembly line. If an individual was doing it, there are numerous open source hardware and software projects for all of the pieces, it would just take a few 10's of thousands to buy enough materials to really do some damage. If a nation state was behind it, there would be no stopping it.
Tbh, I think humanity is capable of much worse if we let it. But yeah fair points
Having things made by hand will always be a differential, it happens today in lots of automated fields like clothing, art, food, etc. I'm a broke guy with a dream of making games, I learned how to program and game engines like Unreal made my dream close to reality (instead of needing to pay dozens of experienced developers for years to build an engine, I can simply install and use their product), my current roadblock are 3d assets, and I'm very excited to know that in the near future I won't need hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay 3d artists to make those assets, I'll just pay a dollar or two for a service to generate what I need and move on with my dream. Of course I'd rather have my own engine and a team of talented artists to make my assets, but that's not my reality so having an alternative is a godsend.
Thats really good to hear, I hope it helps you with your game! My previous game had a full team and full time 3d artist. It was nice to have but I didn't learn much, approaching my next game differently this time. And completely agree, I'm in a similar situation where coding is my weakest link. Hiring a mentor / full time dev is a huge undertaking. AI came in clutch where stuff that took a week to troubleshoot now takes 15 min to breakdown and understand. I found it really helpful to look into big functions and explain it back to in a way that makes sense (also very patient in case I had a million other questions)
programmer art will always be more charming than ai
Most of the robot arms in a car factory never used AI. There is some research done now on that topic but no, the car factories that use robot arms today do not make use of ai. AI, or at least neural nets were used in many field, but this is an incredibly ill informed video. AI is hot so you decided to jump on the bandwagon with this misinformed drivel
I disagree, we used AI cameras to detect defects at specific stations. They do measurements, give out reports and alert engineers of any deviation from the standard process. They even report bottlenecks in the system and give detailed analysis on where you can improve the process
@@MostafaNassarexcept that's not what you say in the video. If you're not a native speaker you might think it is but it really isn't. Ai controlled robot arms are not in use. AI is, ai controlled robotics are not. At least not in the automotive manufacturing industry.
@@AlucardNoir ah so what I said gave the impression that all robots run with AI. I see where you are coming from. But we did use AI for various operations after the robotics, also depends on the factory. All of this was based on my experience and time in the industry
AI is not just neural nets, Neural Networks is the subfield of AI, not the whole field, regular "if-then" systems are considered AI too since they ARE part of AI science sphere.
@@TheManinBlack9054 I mean, technically you are correct, but in practice we've ever only been able to create only the most narrow of AIs with that system. Things like Stockfish. Better at chess than any human alive or dead, but not something most people would call AI, even AI researchers. You talk to an AI researcher, he tells you just what you wrote and then you see him spend the next 3 years trying to dissuasive students of that very notion.
Amazing work! my take is that it is a tool, and they (the companies) are bleeding the tool and misusing it to try to earn fast money, that's their take, they don't care if they affect or damage anything, as a comment here states, the only way is trying to regulate this by laws, but the future doesn't seem bright for that matter, because ai is growing and changing so fast that is very difficult to regulate the flux of it as a tool. Hard times, but at the same time you are right, its our duty to spread awareness about it.
Agree with you, we gotta band together
You have great technique.
Thank you!
Ai will never get any better than they are today within our lifetime. What they are today are pattern repetition machines. It has nothing to do with intelligence. The "ai" understands nothing and has terrible memory. The technology is also not new its 50 years old. What happened lately that revolutionized what was posible is the internet and moores law. Those have both stopped scaling meaningfully. And if there was a new quantum leap in computing power we would have different issues
Honestly doesn't matter if it gets better or worse or even sideways. Its the "dream" they are selling to other people on the backs of millions of "stolen" work. Whats under the hood is anything but intelligent. All of that marketing is sadly working and causing a lot of rift in the creative industrt
@@MostafaNassar I don't believe so. Being able to generate cheap graphics for hobby projects won't mean that actual artists will have trouble competing with it in a professional setting. Honestly if you don't think your "art" can compete with AI I question if what you are making is art at all... AI is not making art, it is making graphics and copying things that are done a thousand times before. That's how it works...
Whats your take on AI ?
I've enjoyed watching arrogant holier-than-thou (mostly progressive) artists realize they're getting replaced because AI pumps out better material than their propaganda tier nonsense. Still, I think the cultural decay of a copy of a copy of a copy is going to be a problem. Of course, that's what most modern artists are anyway so... Guess we'll just wait until AI systems-collapse occurs because too many AI generated images and texts get accidentally included in AI learning data. A 10 year shakeup of the entire artistic industry, however, is certainly required.
Same as yours. Some will use it to work more efficiently. Some will use it to replace jobs. And God knows, I don't want to deal with the hassle of employees in my small business. I'm excited to finally have a useful voice interface in my computers - we've been working on this for 50 years, and it's finally in sight.
@@Kryptid_K A shake up is always welcome, everything is getting so stale (haven't gone to the movies in forever) so maybe this is the push we need to get some authenticity ?
@@PaulSpades yeah I hear you, I like to use it to learn coding. It's really helpful to troubleshoot errors as well
@@PaulSpadesthe thing is, work more efficiently means one person can do the job of multiple, that means the market has a chance to grow, but if there is no demand for it, you'll inevitably lose jobs.
nice video but I would suggest for "tutorial" like videos to speed it up less and to talk a bit more about how you do everything (where you press or in which part of the screen).. its easy to lose track 😅
Thanks, appreciate the feedback 🙏
what program do you use for pixel art?
I'm currently using Aseprite
I love those kangaroo photos man! Great review, I’ve got the lens too and I’m loving it.
Thanks ! I'm glad you're enjoying it too 😃
Very cool approach, thank you for sharing!
My pleasure!

When will you add layers to give the Parallax effect?
I coded parallax for outdoor scenes. Still testing if I actually need it for indoors or not
@MostafaNassar what do you mean outdoors and indoors?
@@f.ek_ i have scenes where the sky is visible. So I have parallax for sky, mountains, trees...etc
@MostafaNassar I think adding them in the foreground and the back ground like hollowknight did is so good
Do you have any personal tips you wana share?
How is it for Portraits?
It works but not my fav for portraits tbh. It depends on your preference tho
@@MostafaNassarI used a Sigma 35mm 1.4 for years on my Canon 6D because of size and weight I changed to Sony. I’ve got the 7C II still the 28mm would be just a backup for 24-105mm still not sure if I keep it or change to 28-70 F2.8

So I used an adapter to work with my Nikon cameras and it is wonderful. Not Big and the Small Size plus the picture quality is fabulous. Beats the Sony Nifty Fifty in quiet foucusing. Cheers!
enjoy it to the max !
It would be so cool if the "go" sign is in the game theme not just a blank text if it's like from a corpse of any of the aliens or something like this or a ruins of an old restaurant sign saying go before the invasion

Do you have any memorable boss fight ? list them below 😀 !
Mr popo
I can relate so much but whats even worse is when you live in a toxic family with constant dramas and demands and distractions and blaming or constantly understimate you and thinking low of you, that you are pathetic and all you do is sit on the computer alone and play video games even though I really try hard to apply myself and make something to finally become someone worth respect but it is very difficult and it takes a lot of time but even worse is that demotivating they do and ruining my mental health. it makes me not only want to stop trying but even find it difficult doing basic tasks or just being around them makes me sleepy all the time, tired and exhausted and feeling worthless. it just sucks, you probably might jump to the conclusion of moving out but I live in a third world country where everything is fucked up and everything is impossible and I mean everything. but I guess there could still be one last resort, is to make a simple dumb game yet fun for mobile. that'll be easier and a good starter for me maybe but even then I cant gaurntee the results and just accept my fate and end it all at once
I hope things get better, don't give up yet ! The thing is you never know how your game will turn out, just do your best regardless of the outcome. As long as you are improving then its a time well spent.
@@MostafaNassar thanks alot man, sorry for being dramatic cause I tend to do that from time to time but it's Abit better than releasing the stress or negative thoughts in meaningless words than meaningful actions that might be "regrettable" Also I'm very thankful for your video cause it inspired me and made me feel like I'm not alone in this or not a failure since there are great artists like you who go through the same thing.
